I got burnt out after treating WoW like a full time job for multiple years, while having a full time job. Ever since my PC is connected to the TV. Sitting at a desk isn’t relaxing. So PC or console, it’s from the comfort of my recliner with a controller.
I don’t recall if it was mandatory during setup or not. I can control it locally when the internet is down, at least from the wall, I don’t think the app would work. But again, I wanted the remote features so I didn’t even try to set it up without an account.
Home assistant may work as well, but I don’t use it.
It’s really not bad. Sign in, goes to a page that just says not found. 3 dot>open in app and you’re in.

Ecobee also requires chrome, but had a work around. Not sure if it’ll work here, but ecobee said to hit the 3 dot menu and choose open in app after the login failed and that logged you in.
We have lg washer and dryer and I just set up thinQ on my wifes new phone. It asked for location and when denied it said automations might not work. Asked my wife, she said what’s that? So location disabled app works fine. My main issue is not being able to just set a custom wash or dry from the machine. Why do I have to download a program if all I want is to lower the dryer temp without choosing delicate, which also shortens the time. Just have a full custom cycle and let me customize it.
We already have precedent. They need to be fined the same rate as the Napster cases.
Must have made decent money with the price. I know I’m not paying for an app that’s been out of date for so long. So he’s lost my ultra renewal, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
For the few ad-based services that I pay for, I mute it for every commercial. Seriously, I just can’t handle it.

The reason we haven’t burt it down is because the ones in power are really good at making the ignorant masses hate each other. Even during covid people were pissed off that unemployed people were getting a little extra help, when business owners were raking in PPE loans. Instead of focusing that anger where it really belongs. Half the country hates minorities and trans people, the other half hate maga. When instead, we should all be focusing on the bezos and musks and guillotines.
From a quick googlebthe dollar inflation is up 33% since 2014. The lowest increase is 67%.

This has been broken for ages. I bought a year of ultra when the app came out (before lifetime no ads was added) and it’s been broken since before my ultra ran out. Which is exactly why I’m not giving any more money right now and haven’t renewed.
Unhiding spoilers also doesn’t work. Seems to in post comments, but not in the main post.
Unfortunately I haven’t found anything else I can customize as well as sync to look how I like.
