Almost 400 ‘mushroom’ sites – created in bulk by malicious actors with the sole purpose of seeding disinformation and fake news – are spreading Russian propaganda in Bulgaria.

    I suspect the bulk of misinformation spreads through whatsapp and telegram… still worrying to see

      I guess they need articles for the bots to share on social media.

      RT/Sputnik are a bit to obvious and well known. So new websites that haven’t had time to build a bad reputation can be useful.
