I chose some random tracks from youtube, I guess most of them were newer. I often notice myself liking the early works of artists most.
The voice reminds me a bit of The Wedding Present. Maybe their sound as well, though much slower.
I’m glad you like it. Their lead singer was also in a band called Secular Joy if you’re interested. I think they only made one album. I like My Dad Is Dead’s later music too but their debut holds a special place in my heart.
Is that from the 80s? I like the sound a lot. Not much of that came from the States back then.
