Oppression implies that there is an oppressor with some sort of power or control over the other party.

Intolerance is being unwilling to accept something.

So are you suggesting fascists and fascist movements should not be restrained via group with power and control over them but people just not accepting them is fine?

Are you sure we can’t just defeat them with our words? Maybe we will get more people on our side by putting forth strong arguments 🤡

The first statement implies that fascists are deserving of equal rights as everyone else. This don’t the case, though, because what they want is the destruction of other people’s rights.

Fascists don’t play by the rules, because they don’t think they apply to them or they are inconvenient. If they rules don’t apply to you then they don’t apply to you. Can’t have it both ways.

Hopefully every liberal will remember people being disappeared off the streets in broad daylight by fascist thugs in ski masks next time an actual Nazi complains about their free speech being taken away, right? Right? No? They will be the first ones on the scene voraciously fellating the Nazi? ok.

Everyone deserves exactly as much tolerance as they’re willing to give to others. No more, no less. If someone is hateful to you, no point in wasting your time trying to be nice to them. “I’ll be nice to the nazi maybe that’ll change them” has never worked, not once.

Violence to stop violence seems ok, if it’s in a situation where it would work.

Though, nowadays there are some who throw around the word fascist, maybe to muddle the waters or channel hate against people they dislike. I’ve seen some people claim that the first major socialist experiment was fascist under their Georgian leader. That seems to be misdirection.
