The documents the New York Times acquired argue the US share of global power plant pollution has fallen, and that even if US power plants cut all of their emissions and pollution, it would not “meaningfully” improve public health in the US
Coal is so massively expensive to build, maintain and operate that it is being phased out by literally every single power generating utility company. There is no possibility that these regulatory changes that have yet to go into effect will change that.
Canada spends millions to keep oil profitable don’t think coal is immune to being propped up
This is what you voted for protest-non-voters.
In the past election, it was obvious who was going to be a rip-roaring mega asshole so non-voting was a massively stupid idea.
Love how y’all want to hold millions of people collectively responsible but y’all can’t even blame a couple hundred Democrats who were actually responsible.
Who isn’t holding those Democrats accountable? Whoever voted for these clowns and whoever didn’t vote are all fucking accountable.
The ones who keep voting for corporate centrists instead of primarying them out of the party.
You voted for genocide. Get help. Be better.
YOU voted for genocide. Biden and Harris were pushing for peace.
*More that you voted for: https://www.yahoo.com/news/bracing-more-russian-attacks-anxious-200732394.html
I refused to vote for genocide.
And boy they pushed hard didn’t they? Remember when they held that presser to tell the country “We are legally obligated to do this but we openly declare what Israel is doing to be a criminal war crime and we condemn it in the strongest of terms. We also call for international investigations and observers” Remember when that happened? When they did that? Do you remember it? Because I don’t. Because it never happened.
You tell yourself whatever the fuck you need to so you can sleep at night. I sleep like a baby. I’ve never once questioned myself. I knew what would happen. I knew it waaay back. I knew that the Clown Prince was a lying fraud as far back as 2015. (didn’t vote for him back then either btw) But what I also knew was that the dems have a bad habit of lying through their teeth. 2016 didn’t help. Wilding v. DNC Services Corp didn’t either. Nowadays my vote is for sale. It costs universal healthcare. I don’t listen to spin. I don’t watch what used to be news channels or the panels of spin doctors they field. Because its all smoke. Every talking point was hand crafted by wonks who think we’re all mouth breathing knuckle dragging morons. (sitting here laughing about how right they’ve turned out to be as I type this.) All I care about is policy. Hard Policy. With real impact. That’s universal healthcare, free college, UBI, etc. They can either do the policy or die. Along with this despicable country. If it isn’t ever going to get better then its better that it burns. Right now both parties are fine with genocide. The most you’ll get out of them is them running away from cameras. And I will never vote for anyone who supports genocide. Not under any circumstances. Not to save myself or my neighbors. That’s my blood red line (of childrens blood) in the sand. If you can hold your nose good for you. I can’t, won’t, and won’t even entertain the idea of it. If that’s what this country is then this country shouldn’t exist anymore. We are lost if we can trade comfort at home for the lives of millions. I’ve seen that before during Bush and Obama’s global war on peace.
Protest non voting is voting. In your case, you voted for genocide. On several fronts. Congratulations.
And you know it, thus your rambling attempts to deny, deflect, whatabout, every trick to get out of it. Ciao.
You know what you know. Tell them not to do stupid shit next time. If there’s a next time. The Schumer Strategy doesn’t work. Hasn’t worked. Won’t ever work. Run to the left and you can’t lose. Run to the right and you’re guaranteed to lose. Proven track record. And don’t support genocide. Ever. Not materially or tacitly.
Y’know I was on team Kamala. Right up until the night of the DNC when they wouldn’t allow a Palestinian to speak. And all those party members were outside laughing and smiling and dancing at protesters. Because up until that point I in my foolishness truly believed that my party was better than that. That there was some kind of moral superiority at play. Even if they’re all corrupt shitbags. I thought that in their heart of hearts that they were still human. That maybe they could be redeemed somehow. But they showed me my folly. That night. That was the end of it. Now I really don’t give a good god damn what happens to this country. I thought Republicans are evil and our guys were pretty shit but not outright evil themselves. But boy they sure showed me.
It’s not the carefully crafted speeches or big policy pushes that tell you who they are. Its those small moments. Like in 2015. When Chump announced his run. He was pandering to the lgbt crowd. He paid them lip service openly. Even claimed support for them would be in the party platform. Then the GOP quietly removed that and he didn’t fight it. Small moments. That told me who he was. An opportunistic grifter. A conman. He’d say anything to get his way. And I learned to pay attention to those small moments.
I had decided to not respond, but I did fall for one of your tricks so I thought I’d fix that: Your whole ramblings have been a deflection from this thread: “Trump EPA drafting a rule that would undo decades of progress on limiting pollution from power plants | CNN”. You don’t have a response to that, so you immediately went to deflection. Ok thought I’d point that out. You may continue to rage at, well yourself really. Ciao.
But you did respond. And with that I’ve won. gg. get gud kid. skill issue. etcetera.
