    Surprised how much I’m annoyed by this but he was surprisingly good, even as someone who figured he’d be a decent signing. And more surprisingly loveable.

    Wonder why he’s not just going straight to Flamenco — did they just not wanna pay us even a tiny bit for him…

      Flamenco actually just announced him, so he’ll be playing in the Club World Cup.

    I figured when we signed him he’d be decent (I wasn’t one of the ones who was against his signing). But even with reasonable expectations he’s really over-performed. A consummate professional, a huge mentor to our younger players, a quiet leader on and off the pitch, and he put in some great performances for us. Farewell Jorghi. You will be missed. Once a gunner always a gunner.
