    I hope they get a hefty settlement. I really hope it comes from the police budget.

      It never does but always should. Virtually every American police department would be bankrupted.

    Sure would be nice if the US would ever prioritize some sort of meaningful police reform. But the powers that be like things the way they are, minus the plebs occasionally protesting.
