Kim said he would no longer seek reconciliation and reunification with South Korea, noting the “persisting uncontrollable crisis situation”.
Buried in the article is the real shocker. This would be like China saying they no longer seek reconciliation and reunification with Taiwan or the US dropping their blockade of Cuba because of “the controlled end of the Cuban situation.”

I disagree with your comment but I agree that it doesn’t break the rules. @mods let us have a discussion with people of different opinions.
In any case, it was the Western world and the US that has been posturing. They hold north Koreans under brutal suffocating sanctions. North Korea resisting this must not be condemned.
Where with who? The fucking Ocean?
Multiple challenges to the US across the world at once, right after its loss in Ukraine. Should be interesting.
Lol Ukraine may not have taken back the country during its counter offensive but the US won extremely big by showing the Russian military isn’t actually the 2nd best in the world, probably not even top 10.
How did the US win? What of the goals has ever been achieved? Russia achieved what it set out to do, and its economy and industry is stronger than ever. https://www.npr.org/2023/12/17/1219882734/russias-economy-is-going-strong-despite-sanctions-from-the-u-s-and-its-allies https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-has-upper-hand-arms-race-with-west-russian-minister-says-2023-12-25/
Maybe you missed that the US exhausted its ammunition supply to the point that it had to abandon Ukraine to supply Israel with weapons. https://www.axios.com/2023/10/19/us-israel-artillery-shells-ukraine-weapons-gaza
I will grant you that weapons makers have made billions from this conflict, but Lockheed Martin and Ratheon aren’t the US government or the US people. The government and people got screwed, and it is a major strategic loss for the US. The US now not only appears weak, but is known to be unable to produce ammunitions fast enough.
Putin announced a “special military operation” to “demilitarize and denazify” Ukraine, claiming Russia had no plans to occupy the country. Since they’ve achieved what they set out to do, will they be going back to Russia?
Technically, yes.
What did it lose in Ukraine?
