  • I love everything about wanderer, just wish that you could look at trails on a full-screened map on mobile. Currently pulling up the trail will provide a small map inside the webpage for you to see the trail, which on desktop works great, but mobile it feels like the map should be the more important aspect (similar to apps like osm, all trails and gaiagps). Because of this I am mostly using it as a database to then download the trail and open it in osm.

  • You can eat any of them, though some may kill you if you do :)

The first one is a morel, and the black one (also edible) is a black trumpet. Others may be edible, I’m not sure. The frog mushroom (Amanita muscaria) is supposed to be very poisonous, but there is an episode of Hamilton’s Pharmacopoeia where he finds a man who eats them regularly. (This is not me suggesting you eat them yourself, just an interesting tid bit, mushrooms are weird)

Personally, there are some smaller communities that exist on Reddit that just don’t exist on Lemmy, or have inactive communities. The other option for some of those communities is Twitter, so I’d much rather just check Reddit. I also don’t expect my local towns subreddit to move to Lemmy from Reddit. I think it’s less about returning to Reddit and more so wanting to participate in small communities that exist in Reddit.

  • So let’s give the companies that have lied about the harms and effects of their product a heads up? They never gave people who died of cancer when they knew it caused cancer but denied it. Moving the age will just give the time for the business owners to get more of the money out and fuck over the smaller employees anyways.

I honestly think there is no solution that doesn’t have negative effects. I’m personally very against the banning of something (especially a plant) as a solution to a problem as it creates plenty more problems (see America’s drug problems)
