For me, my step Mom and I had a bit of friction between us. So I was trying to move out asap. Thankfully (probably thanks to my Dad) she tolerated me long enough for me to finish my 2 year college degree and find a job (about 3-6 months).
As soon as I got my first paycheck I immediately went to work on finding an apartment. If your paycheck isn’t enough to pay rent or if you just want a friend to hangout with, I recommend considering a roommate. They can help pay the rent and can share chores and things. And you can do fun stuff together too like play games or whatever. Granted there’s always the risk of finding a bad roommate too… If you can, I suggest sticking to friends and family only.
I also recommend a marker fridge magnet spinner for a chore wheel. And then write the chores on the wheel. I try to spin and do 1 chore a day. And get my roommate to do the same. Maybe get a marker whiteboard magnet too for use as a “todo” list.
Everything else has already been mentioned by other comments. Just remember to take things one thing at a time and one day at a time.
I had a old job that told me that code is “self documenting” if you write it “good enough”. And that comments were unnecessary.
It always annoyed the heck out of me. Comments are imo more helpful than hurtful typically.
Is it just me? Or am I weird? Lol.
A nutrition tracker where you can enter what foods you eat into a small database. And then when you eat meals you can check those foods off in order to calculate all of the nutrition facts consumption per day. And it could be expanded even further by adding graphs and reports such as Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
Could track Calories, Vitamins, Minerals, and other specific nutrition stats. Most nutrition apps I’ve seen only track Calories… Or don’t have accurate nutrition applied to specific foods as it is generic. Letting the user add the food as a item in a small database would give the user more control of how the stats and reports are calculated.
Could be helpful for some to see their intake and then figure out ways to change it to become healthier.
I’ve got a modded Nintendo Wii which plays GameCube games and also does emulation from a large hard drive.
I also have a ps3 with two gun controllers and Time Crisis Razing Storm combo disc (3 shooting games included). And Killzone 3 which imo, is amazing. Especially with the gun controllers.
I also have an older xbox 360 white model with backwards compatability that still works somehow (knock on wood). So we can also play original xbox games in addition to Xbox 360 games.
All of these hooked up to a large flat panel TV on a swivel mount. And with 2 couches. And a fake zebra rug and smart lights for ambience.
I will entertain you with nostalgia. And couch coop or versus gaming.
And if we get bored of games. We can watch YouTube or Netflix or whatever.
