Yeah I’m not sure this is true, though I imagine it’s only a matter of time. Anecdotally, but I know a guy who definitely has PTSD from, among other things, watching onscreen as such an automated weapon of war homed in on two combatants fleeing, closing in until finally one of them, looking over his shoulder directly at the camera, gave up and stopped running immediately before death.
You’re not the only one. Pretty sure I got W3 with dlc for $5 ages ago. I’d like to get cyberpunk with dlc for no more than $15. Especially since I was pretty hype for that game. Had been itching for something with a proper world to explore and get lost in, felt like it was going to scratch that itch. I don’t often buy things day one, but I was taken in by the advertising and CDprojects rep. I took the day off work and then didn’t even buy it because of everything.
Don’t forget! If there’s dlc for that game, it’s not included there, either.
Personally I’m big on Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart. A mod of a doom mod that plays like super mario kart pushed to it’s absolute limit, with a community that has added most characters you can think of, a million quality of life changes, and some things that crank it to 11 for me, like the blue shell equivalent moving just slightly faster than your top speed, so if you play perfectly and drift dash nonstop you can keep it just barely tickling your butthole but not hitting you.
What, you guys didn’t have penis inspection day in gym class?
Okay dank I had no awareness of proton, this is very encouraging! Thanks!
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve used a linux distro for personal use, but I’ve got a laptop that probably needs to move over. That being said, I would still LIKE to play some windows exclusive games on that machine. Is wine still the go to for fudging compatibility? How good is it? Will I be able to download windows only steam games with relatively low effort for such uses?
Agreed. Let’s not let perfect be the enemy of good. Even if it ONLY makes bribery more expensive, is that not a good thing?
It’s hysterical how he compares the US to a department store, a kind of store that is all but dead in 2025.
The simpsons got it right decades ago with Dems: We’re incompetent and can’t govern Reps: We’re evil! But Seriously, the biggest problem the Dems have in 2025 is that they’re ANCHORED in establishment. Those in the lead now are not there because they’re capable, intelligent, or popular, but because they waited their turn. It’s a commitment to fairness and rules to the point of self sabotage. Tell Schumer and Pelosi to take a hike, put AOC, Booker, anyone else who has a plan and is committed to actually FUCKING DOING SOMETHING in charge, rather than telling them to play nice with the party and wait their turn behind the wheel when current leadership dies.
Just give me high speed rail, dude. I want high speed rail SO BAD.
Because to do so, you must recognize them as a coup: bro is illegally using force to stop government function. This is, by definition, a coup.
On the other hand, his primary win has gotten a MASSIVE amount of news coverage. This is a big amount of groundswell for an underfunded candidate. You’re right, the battle isn’t won yet, but spreading news and expressing support will only further that cause.
