IQ as a measure of the value of people is bullshit, because it’s an extremely narrow part of our combined intelligence that is measured.
For instance empathy is not part of an IQ test, but is a crucial feature for societies to work well. As societies with higher social intelligence function relatively better.
Something Trump is actively demonstrating right now. Remove empathy from how society works, and the losses are enormous.
Trump and his ilk do not understand that, because they don’t have it.

I’m not Canadian, but as a European this is my reaction to senators reaching out:
Yeah that’s not how this works. Get rid of the Trump administration should be your priority.
Then depending on what happens, maybe we can talk.

USA is per definition an enemy now to both Canada and EU, an enemy that threatens invasion, and is attempting to destroy the economies of close allies. USA as a country is letting this happen, and we have to respond to USA as a country.

We can’t have individual policies with groups of congressmen.

Maybe I’m naive, but I haven’t seen this besides from spam accounts that are generally quickly closed.
The thing to do is of course to report it when you spot it.

Because they are morons that don’t understand entropy.
Requiring at least 1 number increases entropy less than simply allowing the use of numbers, and then recommending it.
But most password queries are lousy at describing what’s allowed when creating it, and they generally don’t describe it at all when you enter it for access.
The second part can be crucial for remembering exactly how the password was created, because what is now required, used to often not even be possible to use!

Your password MUST contain big and small letters, and contain at least 1 number character and 1 spacial character, it MUST be 8 characters long, and it MUST be typed on a German Cherry keyboard between 8-9 PM, using ONLY 1 finger while blindfolded and listening to ABBA music. BUT NO SPACES ALLOWED!!!
This is because of something called entropy we never even read about so we have zero understanding of it. Of course combined with lousy programming, so safety is all on you.

Making all these possibilities OPTIONAL would actually make for safer passwords (higher entropy), as would using multiple words separated by spaces. The only meaningful way to accept a password would be to test it against common bad passwords, and test the entropy to determine acceptable levels. There is no good reason a password couldn’t be 10 words and at least 127 characters. There is no way that should stress a properly designed modern system.

As a European, looking at that map is really really REALLY depressing!!
I’m a bit surprised to see China is more popular than USA in so many European countries including my own.
I don’t think that’s really the case if people thought more about it, it’s the immediate reaction of feeling betrayed by a friend and ally.
But if USA continue their current hostile policies against Europe and the world, and continue on their path towards fascism, of course China can be seen as the lesser evil.
One thing is for sure, the old relationship with USA is ruined, and there is very little chance EU will go back to be as pro American as we used to be.
This is a HUGE loss on both sides, we should have stood together to protect democracy, and to balance out China, that will soon be a global economic force never before seen.
But Instead USA chose to attack every ally they have, and alienate them beyond repair. Hopefully China will be a graceful superpower, when there is nobody to counter them.
USA needs to turn around super fast, and make it clear that the MAGA crowd is out politically for good.
Because democracies like USA and Europe and other allies need to strengthen alliances rather than weakening them. And we need to stand more for the values of democracy instead of breaking them down.
If we don’t, China and BRICS will dictate the terms in the future, and the world will devolve into an authoritarian hell.
