I reckon once Max tires of the F1 circus, he will try his hand (and probably absolutely dominate) at everything else.

I enjoy watching slow motion train crashes as much as the next guy, but everyone needs a break sometimes, you know?
Congrats on the kidneyversary!
The part of the urethra that passes through the prostate is usually bent. As I said, I’m only guessing, but I think by angling the penis down and pushing the prostate forward from behind, it should make it less of a sharp angle for the scope to pass through, therefore reducing pain and risk of urethral injury.
I assume you were making a joke, but just in case you weren’t, it is not.
No, it doesn’t. The surgeons I work with don’t do prostate manipulation when they insert the scopes, but my guess is that it’s a way to straighten out the urethra to assist with scope insertion in awake or lightly sedated patients (with local anaesthesia).
Update: I ran into an actual urologist in the change room and showed him the diagram. He said the only time he would apply pressure like that is to improve the position of the prostate during a prostate resection, but not just to do a cystoscopy. I asked if this was more common during direct vision cystoscopy (using your eye to see down the scope rather than a camera unit as we do now), and he said he didn’t think so but wasn’t sure. This guy is not that far off retirement, so he’s been around long enough to remember a lot of advances in technique and technology. I think this diagram belongs in a museum.
Cystoscopy
Why swim when you can walk, I always say…
It is pretty overwhelming. I’ve had to just turn the subtitles off a few times.
Even worse, you’ve got 2 autistic children that lose their minds every time the subtitles don’t match or are poorly translated or whatever, and loudly exclaim over the next 10-15 seconds of the show (unless interrupted by another poorly matching subtitle).
I’m obsessively playing guild wars 2 at the moment, and it is arguably similar, in that you don’t absolutely have to grind to enjoy the game. You can get a character to top level very quickly (a few days), and you can gear them up to play a lot of the end game content fairly quickly (exotic gear is about 5% weaker than the best gear in the game and significantly cheaper and easier to get. You don’t have to craft or collect resources to play and have a good time.
I’m enjoying it. The story can all be done solo, as can most of the open world content. There are a bunch of group things you can join or leave as you want, and there are heaps of guilds that have regular runs through raids and other instanced group content (I haven’t spent much time doing that stuff yet, tbh). One of the biggest problems I’m having is that coming in now after 13 years (I think), there is so much to do it’s basically a sandbox, so having some structure to follow (like the story missions) is essential for me.
It sure is. Not sure how current numbers compare to other MMOs or previous peaks or whatever, but my personal experience is that there are always players around, no matter where I am, or what I’m doing. The community is also very nice. Always happy to jump in and help another player in trouble, or assist in a quest or event that requires a group to do.
Still working my way through the story in guild wars 2. I played it for a bit a few years ago, then picked it up again in earnest late last year, been slowly working through the expansion content. I’m up to the season 4 content, working on unlocking the roller beetle, which looks like fun.
Thanks 😁
Those flowers are pretty. Do you have a link?
(Sorry, I don’t have an autism specific thing to add)
With extra phase changes?
Is that an African Quetzalcoatlus, or a European one? I assume they would grip the Ankylosaurus by the husk.
Oh, I hadn’t heard that he said that about ovals, but I’ve heard many other people say that Indy is too dangerous for them, so I can understand that. I reckon there’s a good chance he will try WEC at least?
