Do you have, in your cupboards, the ingredients to make a German chocolate cake, a pecan cake, and a carrot cake? No? Why not? Swap any of of those for a spice cake, or angel food, or gingerbread… You can’t??? Why not? A trip to the store and have exactly what I need to make any or all of those. I don’t have to pay for extra ingredients that are just going to sit, take up space, and go bad. Do you know how much it would cost to buy all the unique ingredients to make any of those cakes? And you used to get a reliable result too for look, taste, quantity, and quality. But with shrinkflation, that’s gone out the door.

Also, ignoring the fact, so many recipes start with a box from Betty Crocker, and then using something they do regularly have at home and use, they add their own little twist on it. Or just use one of those boxes as a base because not everyone has that stuff sitting around or even has the space to store it.

Lastly, flour is one of the most dangerous ingredients to have just sit around in terms of food safety.

So the ‘Trump IQ Scale’ than. We can determine someone’s IQ by simply observing their approval of Trump. The more they agree the lower the IQ, the less they disagree the higher IQ. Trump himself is the reference point. Someone can maybe come up with a new way to represent it. Though we could just keep the 100 point scale, with Trump being the reference point. So we put T=0 and then you can be ± 99 from center. So someone could say “Yeah my TIQ is +73” or something. Seems like it would be more accurate than the made up IQ scale. Though some nuance to that… since a TIQ of +99 might as well be just as bad as a -99. I believe in his first term, he put for a bill around the cruelty of animals, so if you’re a TIQ if +99 you’re just disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing and aren’t taking into account what is being said/done. So the scale would be nuanced.

That’s your personal bias. He lets people believe what they want. He used it for clout, and while you might not care about game development or cybersecurity, there are many who do. When he did security, he did social engineering. Which is just as valid, but if people are more impressed because they think he’s looking at source code and whatnot… he doesn’t correct them and leans into those stories. When I was in middle school, I was probably the worst for me with the bullying. I came from a family that didn’t have a whole lot of money. Like even the cheap stuff we had to cut corners with. And well I was fully aware, that there was no real difference between what I had and what they had, it didn’t stop the consistent bullying. And the teachers never cared. The other students didn’t care in fact some of them would chime in too. And when that’s your life for several hours a day 5 days a week… You eventually just get to a breaking point.

I’ll never forget the day I basically had a complete emotional breakdown because we were doing back to school shopping at Target, and I saw one of those trapper keepers. With a weird designs on the outside. They were all the rage. And it was like eight bucks I think. My mom did end up buying it for me, but only because her soon-to-be 5th grader, collapsed in the isle crying. I don’t remember what I told her, but all I could think about was having that was going to make life just a little bit easier for me.

Combat is unvearied. The gameplay loop gets very repetitive very quickly.

Early game at least, the sandworm and dust storms provide an interesting looking threat for a while.

It’s not a bad game, but it’s a pvp centric game with minimal pve to justify the story of Dune.

To me it seems like it’s very much going to be a flash in a pan kind of game. It is going to live and die by rapid updates to add content. What is there if you know what you’re doing, you could experience the whole game in about a weekend.

Well, the refund policy has only existed 10 years now. Well in it’s current form. Previously refunds were much harder to get.

For the demo, I really liked it. I thought the writing was good as it set the atmosphere. Not to spoil anything, but the first guy you meet… it tells you a lot about things lol. HE BROKE SO MANY RULES! (iykyk) The dialog options seem like they could lead to something interesting down the road. Understanding the various characters and what they do seems like it could be an engaging loop while you level and modify their stats. After playing the demo, which is pretty short, I fully plan to pick this up when it’s released.

It’s a stupid headline. These tanks, are to directly affect air polution/quality in urban areas. Trees are terrible at that. The microalgae is 10-50x more effective in cleaning the air.
