Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Ye Power Trippin' Bastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com•r/autism mods banned me for speaking outEnglish32·30 days agoYDI - There is an obvious disconnect between your “identity crisis” and argument which leads me to believe this is about the drama and not some passionate protection for the autistic community.
Also, multiple mods calmly explained their reasoning and you started screaming at them. Yeah, that gets a hard ‘nope’ from me.
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Political Discussion and Commentary@lemmy.world•How to get past all the disinformationEnglish2·1 month agoThere is significant truth to this. I made the decision after the last US election to skip all articles entitled “[Some asshole] says…” or similar. My post rate has dropped drastically, but my stress level has easily halved.

It would clearly signal to the world (and to America’s children) that America is a declining power.”
Yeah, tht’s been clear since Donald Doofus got voted in the first time. It’s time that the signals get registered by America.
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Ye Power Trippin' Bastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com•my first banEnglish2·1 month agoAssuming you don’t have some naive belief like that militaries aren’t necessarry you’re essentially arguing for child soldiers. GG
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Science@mander.xyz•Astronomers Detect a Signature of Life on a Distant Planet - NYTimes gift articleEnglish0·1 month agoThis is always clickbait. It’s not aliens. It’s never aliens. Even IF the detection of a chemical we previously believed only formed as a result of biotic processes is confirmed all this research can tell us is that there is likely conditions on other worlds where the abiotic formation of said chemical (in this case sulphur dioxide and disulphur dioxide) is possible.

Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto vegan@lemmy.world•780,000-Year-Old Discovery Reveals That Early Humans Thrived on a Plant-Based DietEnglish3·1 month agoThis article is arguing far beyond what the research showed:
yielded extensive archaeological evidence, including more than 20 layers of human occupation, fossilized animal bones, and preserved plant remains like seeds and fruits.
It showed we ate what was available. This isn’t new. We’ve always been classified as omnivores.
That feeling when someone just scratched their nails on the chalkboard.

Totally not sounding like a nutjob. Please tell me more about your not crazy beliefs so I can summarily dismiss them as syphalitic ramblngs. That’s what you’re asking for. Keep in mind the more you dig in the more I give my good boy and girl extra bacon treats to assuage my guilt. Unpleasant indeed.
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto vegan@lemmy.world•Pet dogs have ‘extensive and multifarious’ impact on environment, new research findsEnglish3·2 months agoHey I got an idea: Lets go after dog ownership. That will clearly get people on our side.
So it’s a bad idea to get ones limb amputated unnecessarily?
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Science@mander.xyz•There's Now a Third Way to Inherit Traits That Isn’t Your DNA or RNA, Scientists SayEnglish2·2 months agofuture studies will need to investigate if similar pathways are possible in humans (though the authors suggest they don’t see why they wouldn’t)
Why wouldn’t an extra-cellular protein have a similar pathways in humans as worms? This research will be easy. Any amyloids in the semen? How about the uterine fluid? Done.

When are Americans going to figure this out?: 63.7% voted, the other 36.3% don’t fucking matter. By not voting they said “we are okay with this”.
49.8% (more if you include the RFK voters) of the people who mattered voted for this, and those that didn’t vote are complicit whether they like it or not.
