Does mandolin have more than one meaning? I know it as type of lute instrument, but I can’t imagine someone cutting theirself on one.

We can circle back to this debate when anonymity is the weapon in a mass murder.
Which is an example of acceleration.
Plenty of people do that with their personal information on full display.
In what way is anonymity bad on the internet?
Contained in the app you use, video you watch, article you read, page of a book, sentence in a paragraph, etc.
I haven’t tried super hard, but season 5 of Tim and Eric’s Aweseome Show Great Job is the only one I can’t get. I found one torrent, but there are no seeders.
Seemed like the perfect opportunity to teach a 5 year old that stealing isn’t okay without escalating the situation with the use of racial slurs.
A 5 year old taking your personal belongings is cause for a learning opportunity. Anyone who would call their self a victim is just pathetic.
I was ready to argue your point until you mentioned Southpark. Actually I still think its bullshit. Are the differences between men and women that much greater than the differences between Curry and Ming?
Acceleration in physics terms just means a change in velocity. Velocity is speed in a given direction. The steering wheel, gas pedal, and brake pedal all accelerate the vehicle.
Solved!
I downloaded the Volume Lock app and it works exactly as intended. I realized something about how I use my phone soon afterwards. When I receive a call at full volume, I tend to absent mindedly reduce the volume while my phone is ringing. If I were on the homescreen of my phone, this would reduce the master volume. However, it appears that if i reduce my volume while getting a call, it reduces only the ringtone volume. After that call is recieved, if i try to increase my volume again, my phone shows it at full. But my ringtone volume would still be low. Hope this helps anyone who may have this issue in the future.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will try it out.
I have never heard of this, thanks for sharing!
Flying insects in general. When I was a kid I remember so many people’s cars being absolutely caked with dead bugs. It’s not something I see anymore.
I remember hearing about this when it happened. Before I read the article I thought it was another instance of the same thing! Truly awful.
So I went to bitly’s website to see if I could find anymore info here. It looks like most of bitly’s paying customers are businesses that generate QR codes and links that can use custom domains. Since these businesses are already paying customers, anyone using those accounts shouldn’t see ads, but those businesses’ customers probably will! Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems like bitly will inject ads into their customers’ customers screens. If I was one of these business owners I would be pissed lol.
I’ve no doubt most if not all Lemmy users will never buy into a paid bitly subscription. But does anyone here at least know of someone who does, or has a similar subscription? Who would need that? Is bitly so essential to some people that they would pay for an ad free experience? I’m not programmer but I had an interest in it once. Building a URL shortener is one of the most basic programs beginners can get into. There must be hundreds of services for shortening URLs. I know that’s a lot of questions but I find this so intriguing.
Wow I even own one!
