Story time: The first time I heard this song was getting out of US Navy boot camp. I walked into my barracks room, and my bunkmate was drunk and knew I was fresh out of boot camp and the same age as him (older compared to who you would think would join the military). The first sound I heard was this song when I walked in. He is deadpan and blanked-face when he casually turns to look at me and asks while pointing at the screen, “You know anything about this song?” I responded with “No, but I’m always happy to learn new things.” Guy was my drinking buddy for over 2 years.

  • I feel ya. I always thought that there’s bands that are always better in studio than concert. And bands better in concert than studio. For example, GWAR is amazing in concert, but I can’t stand most of their songs on album. But on the opposite side, As I Lay Dying needed to be on album to be good.

That is also not an opinion on Tim. My opinion is I will no longer listen to AILD music

  • So when a star collapses or collides with another star and the force is so strong that the only place for the force to go is inward is what creates a black hole. There’s theories that the supermassive blackhole in the center of the Milky Way was formed by 2 stars colliding and creating a strong enough implosion to create Sagittarius A*. And there are more reports saying that the black hole became exponentially active about 200 years ago…
