The command strip idea is really good, I think I’ll try that out. My pothos is just now getting long enough to try and do something cool with.

We’re up in Minnesota now, and haven’t been here a full year. I’m not sure what the humidity here is like during spring and summer.
End0fLine@midwest.socialto Houseplants@mander.xyz•Got some new carnivorous plants!English2·4 months agoI would love something that could take care of gnats. I ordered a pothos neon from California a few months back which included the little guys. I haven’t taken the time to replace the top soil on all my plants, as I am waiting for warmer weather. They’re so annoying!
Thank you for the information.

Yours are cute, though!
I don’t mind keeping it outside but it’s getting to the point of the year where it gets cold at night. I have found a wide range of answers on if they can handle winter weather. Do you have personal experience with them? I’d love to hear what you think!
I’m in north Texas so it doesn’t usually get THAT cold, but I can always bring it in on freezing nights if necessary.
I can’t wait to see what it turns out like!
My plant loving aunt has been resistant to this one but I’m trying!
I think its a combination of getting a lot of sun outside this summer and me snipping off a strand once it gets to a certain length so that a new one can grow.
Apologies for being deceiving! Its planter is about a foot and a half off of the table using a stand. It is inside for the winter and I was trying to keep it away from my dogs! Aside from the stems on top standing up about 8 inches, the rest of that is spilling over the side of the planter.
Watch the episode where the Enterprise is turned into the doctor’s fantasy novel.
