I started playing ED on playstation. Then I switched to PC and still use a PS controller. It just flies best with 2 stick imo. You can also additionally use a keyboard. (I use the default controller key binding layout + added only 2 or 3 keyboard buttons myself)

I’d say depends. Do you have enough other slots in the system? If yes, I’d say yes. Market effects currently only combine for facilities around or on the same body, so you if you want an orbital market, then you only want to establish production on bodies where you can build an orbital outpost/station. (They maybe will change it so all facilities will also count into all other facilities in the system)

Maybe if it has 5 or more slots on the body, otherwise I’d use this only for system wide effects like security

I forgot about my personal multiplayer aspect: it’s the community in forums like here and mainly discord. There are dozens of public discord servers. That’s where people mainly meet and talk. The in game chat is often a lot of shit talk.

Can’t say much about multiplayer, I only use solo mode. But you can still see the chat of open play, if you’re in a system. No one will know if you’re solo or open. FDevs also announced to rework the whole squadron thingy

I use a controller with 2 sticks. I love it, don’t even think about getting a joystick because I don’t play on a desk

Most fun for me are the Sidewinder and now the Cobra V. I like maneuverability. For combat yes, it’s the Phyton 2. But atm I use the T9 most for colonization hauling 🥲

Tho there has to be an effect of the things we build. And I’m sure I’ve read a comment someone saying that their security status changed. But I’m not sure when exactly the effect kicks in.

Huh I just finished the outpost and services are available. Even the colonization contact.

Started my outpost yesterday and already got it to 81%. That’s really not too hard for ED standards. As far a I got it we won’t have time pressure after the first one .

We have to wait until the weekly tick to have it fully operational or am I wrong?
