1: he won every single swing state

2: people voted dem down ballot but not for Harris

3: the voting machines were connected to starlink

4: many reports from people saying their votes were not counted

I don’t think he won fairly. I believe majority of Americans do not support him but there’s been big money backing him for years. Unfortunately we didn’t have any rules in place for such a scenario. (Other than 2A but good luck against tanks and fighter jets)

Repubos won’t ever think critically about it. Trump said things have to get worse before they get better. So like Christians thousands of years ago (and today) they will go through the hardship thinking that there’s a better life awaiting them. But it won’t ever come.

Best case: Trump gets impeached, Vance takes over and they walk back some of this bullshit.

Worst case: Trump brings the army to start un-terrorist-ing protestors, declares martial law and enacts even worse policies.

Unfortunately, the art community is still big. No other platform has as much engagement with small time artists. I use it just for that. Sometimes Ill get curious and see political tweets. They’re almost always filled to the brim with comments spouting: hate, disinformation or deflection. You’ll see sane comments but the algorithm buries them. I’m sure most are bots but the nazi-ism is definitely boosted.

I’ve made accounts on bsky, pixelfed and cara and post there also. Unfortunately the masses haven’t moved to those yet so commissions and posts are sparse.

On your last point, I don’t think Dems could’ve done anything different. They’re clearly in Israel pockets and they can’t disobey their corporate overlords and run on a more progressive agenda. Only other option was to try hard to get the “centrists”. Incredibly disappointing as they would rather lose and go hard fascist rather than let their donors lose any money (how’s that stock market looking?).

The right wing propaganda machine is too powerful. A close friend of mine works a trade and he’s constantly being engaged with right wing talking points. He voted for Trump. He lives with another close friend who has a master’s in history who constantly refutes all the talking points but I doesn’t matter when all his coworkers, his social media and online media are riling him up with this shit.

At my job I’ve spoken to Hispanics, that can barely speak English, that are die-hard Trump fanatics. Feels like I’m taking crazy pills.
