Very possible the first post was sarcastic
Oh look! They found a potential recruit!
Honestly to some “scientists” I am their enemy who publishes letters to the editor and critical reanalyses of their work because they use terrible methodology to try further their ideology.
The problem though, is they don’t give a fuck. Their goal isn’t to “discover”. It’s to provide more low quality “evidence” for their paradigm.
One of their favourite things to do, is accuse me, who has never talked with them irl or online, of “harassing” them. Just because I put requests for study data and reanlyse that data with proper protocols…
I think there’s a meme he died a virgin. Unsure if we actually know this.
The company will have to form a board-level committee devoted to overseeing the company’s regulatory compliance and antitrust risk, a rarity for US firms. This group will report directly to CEO Sundar Pichai. There will also be reforms at other levels of the company that allow employees to identify potential legal pitfalls before they affect the company. Google has also agreed to preserve communications. Google’s propensity to use auto-deleting chats drew condemnation from several judges overseeing its antitrust cases.
I guess that’s good. But it feels like slapping a bandaid on an amputated leg. Like in the grand scheme of things it won’t change anything to do with the most evil stuff google does (surveillance capitalism).
The search record listed the reason plainly: “had an abortion, search for female.”
I somewhat agree. I think it’s fine people use usenet. But it’s not my cuppa tea. I’ll stick to torrents :).
In a lot of cases it’s not a choice. I’m in a relationship and live with someone I really love. However, I’m too disabled to work. (And disability insurance is basically nothing). So financially I’m completely dependent on my spouse.
There are plenty of women I know who are in similar situations to me.
(Note that I’m male, but this applies to all genders and sexes, except I’m guessing women are more at risk of dependence due to bias in medical systems and disability insurance systems against women and majority female diseases.)
Honestly it’s kinda nice for a lil. Not religious people just describe it as “cockwarming”. But idk its not the best sensation obvsly.
The wikihow style sex illustrations are oddly common on wikipedia lmao.
“neurological illness linked to increase risk of neurological illness”
I think also NAT Hole punching is working well for me. To the point I don’t think getting port forwarding would be needed even if I could afford it.
i seed a lot. but don’t have port forwarding so limited impact sadly
For some reason torrents I downloaded from the archive seem to get the most seeding out of?
Every two weeks? That’s ridiculous??? We only do it twice a season.
Jellyfin is basically as easy to use as plex within the same network. I’ve set up both dueing the past 6 months. The only big difference is that Jellyfin is much more of a pain to work through port forwarding.
It works perfect for me except for a weird bug that’s been documented for half a decade but no one is solving.
The bug being that when your DNS slows down and the connection is cut for a second. The torrent client doesn’t automatically try to restablish connections you actually have to restart the client to get your torrents going again.
Disagree. Not everything needs leaders.
Occupy Wall Street, Fuck Cars etc. These movements didn’t have leaders but did quite well.
