ISolox@lemmy.worldto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Best Free Mobile App for Streaming Self-Hosted Music?English2·19 days agoI use emby for my entire media collection, including music.
You posted in a self hosting community, a lot of people are going to want to host this themselves.
Neat idea and site, but if your just advertising I think your in the wrong community.
Neat idea, but I keep getting the same questions over and over when im answering.
Man I’m just here for the memes :(
ISolox@lemmy.worldto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•Has the Deck turned *off* any other Steam users?41·2 months agoDon’t use the same account for 2 different people. Create another and use Steam Family sharing to fix your issue.
although you still won’t “own” your games, but that’s the life of a PC gamer. Best you can do is buy from GOG or find/run shady cracked versions.
Secure boot has always caused me headaches in the past.
If you want the extra security, go for it. If you don’t care, turn it off.

Works great, but honestly I would just point people to Jellyfin unless Emby provides something specific you need. I just use it because it’s what I’ve had for years.

Still sucks it happened but they seem to be taking the right approach to fixing it imo.
I named mine after different Half Life characters: GMAN- Server FREEMAN- Main Gaming Rig ALYX- Laptop

Also if you happen to be using Emby as a media server, the emby theater app image supports controller :)
Any of the Samsung Tab S tablets should work. Does double check it actually supports the s pen.

Cool but I don’t really see why you would do it on this device when you can just flash android to a raspberry pi or something and have basically the same thing at that point.

Wired Nvidia shield TV has been my best experience when it comes to both moonlight and steam link out of all of the devices I’ve tried it with.
ISolox@lemmy.worldto Nintendo@lemmy.world•Monster Hunter Rise, End of collab DLC, won't be able to download after Jan 21, 2024English32·2 years agoThe base game (to access these quests) is $40 for a brand new copy. It’s only $20 if you get a used copy.
These DLCs event quests are also free to download.
Still sucks they are being removed, but these were minor free 3rd party event quests to begin with.
I wish they wouldn’t have teased it if it’s that far out.
