Yes and the French administration has access to a modified version of Matrix called Tchap.
France put in a place the Hadopi in 2010 (now part of the Arcom) specifically to target people torrenting copyrighted stuff.
I really enjoy using Zen. It’s pretty, has plenty of neat features that don’t require extensions, and the development is very active. The software is not yet mature, so it frequently changes behaviours and how things look, so new users need to be aware of that.
I did try Floorp a few months ago, but I didn’t like it as much. It felt like using regular Firefox with a few tweaks.
Yeah. I use KeepassXC on my computers and KeepassDX on my phone. All synced with syncthing and it works great.
It may be a good way for me to get into Rust a bit more. And if it could help Lemmy as a whole at the same time, it would be positive for everyone.
So I’m definitely interested in this group.
I heard about it, but the issue I usually have with other layouts is that I find myself looking for “infrequent” symbols a lot. Maybe this one would be easier to get used to than other layouts such as Bépo since, as you said, it is relatively compatible with regular AZERTY.
I use the FR-AZERTY layout. You honestly get used to the layout you have to work with.
I’m not sure that all apps let users set the language of a post.
Ok that’s fair.
Honest question but do you really want to see content that is in languages that you don’t understand ?
I still agree that the UI needs to be clearer though.
I think that I fully understand how you feel. It’s pretty much why I stopped playing online games. I want to be able to not think about being good or absolutly winning every single game. Most of the time, I would rather prefer trying out “dumb” stuff in the game or simply having random conversations while having fun.
I really miss these days where games were more than just the game itself.
I also feel that newer games only focus on the competitive aspect.
Same here. I used to heavily use emacs, but when I changed job, it was much easier to simply use vscode instead of making emacs work properly in the new work environment.
Maybe if I find some time, I may go back to emacs since I miss a few features from it.
Yes, that is the best way. Liberapay is also great as it doesn’t take any commission itself (although if you actually use liberapay frequently, it would be a good idea to also donate to them!).
On est certain de ça ? Peut-être qu’il y a plusieurs personnes derrière le compte “Camus” !
TheLinuxExperiment has a good video about it: https://tilvids.com/w/3RjSzdS9jjK2y1nP3M6oJD
One way to deal with this issue in Mastodon is to follow hashtags instead. Personally, it is also not for me, but it is still better than following individuals.
I feel like it’s more of a client issue than a Lemmy issue. We could imagine having clients that correctly support crossposting by having tabs for each comment section.
I’m replaying Sea Of Stars. It’s an incredible game, and since it got a new free DLC, I thought it would be a great time to do a new playthrough.
