China’s south China seas claims is largely over control of bodies of water. The reason Turkey cares so much about Syria is because of the Eufrates basin. Hell, even Trump’s wildly insane conflict over Greenland is over the artic water ways. And that’s a short list. I’m pretty sure we are screwed…
Why? I can tell you now that the Chinese delegation will essentially say nothing and simply report publically what the US is asking for. Something that other nations haven’t done yet to allow USA to save face. This isn’t something that China would be willing to do. China has no demands yet, nor any desire to end the trade war. What they do have a desire for is to make everything USA is trying to steal public knowledge.
It’s worse than that. Sure China is huge, but the entire world is boycotting US goods. It’s far far worse than what your pointing out. But we’ll, maybe this is a good thing. Fuck USA.
Your opposed to it, but now you also see the sole reason the 2nd exists. If ever the government does something like warrantless trespassing, it’s our civic duty to use our 2nd amendment rights to remind them we oppose tyranny. Sort of? Bonds will be safer, however it also is incredibly dependent on the forward inflation. The flation part of stagflation. If inflation outstrips your bond’s interest, you’re still losing money. So bonds are way safer than other assets, but sadly in this kind of a situation not really safe either.
When you realize Trump represents what Biden represents which is what Obama, Clinton, Bush etc… Then you’ll realize that USA has always been evil. Trump is simply saying out loud the quiet part. To show my point I’ll list a bunch of things they all did in unison.
Genocide, not one president didn’t genocide Arabs. Not one. Obama started 5 wars in the middle East, look at how Syria is turning out because of US interference.
All of them talk about China as a great war engine. A country that has not gone to war in over 40 years.
They all spread lies about human rights issues in other nations as well as force their allies to confirm what they’re saying. Though hilariously Trump isn’t doing well on that last part.
But you know, we should keep thinking our votes matter, so let’s not whataboutism, just lay the blame on the current administration.
Edit. I take back a little bit of what I said. The biggest difference with Trump is the American people are suffering too. At least with prior presidents, they stole resources for America. Trump does not seem to be doing that part and that’s why more people are upset.

I mean, not that I’m OK with any of this. But Trump said he’s not willing to commit to defending Taiwan a few days ago. If Taiwan is on the table, god knows how much money China will be willing to shower on to him and USA. His insane plan might work for a few years while he’s in office. He’s willing to sell what no one else ever was and damn the longterm consequences.
But as an American, he might just be stealing the money to keep America afloat for his term, so I guess that’s nice?
I meant on a geopolitics level. China really doesn’t play the geopolitics games. They pretty much just do what they think is right for the nation (right or wrong) and tells everyone else to take care of their own shit. Today, this plan of doing nothing looks to be very successful.

Rednote isn’t tik tok. You’ll absolutely be monitored on there. That’s an implicit agreement for all Chinese apps that has Chinese citizens as users. In fact they do what US government keeps accusing tik tok of but tik tok doesn’t do. If your worried about the Chinese government getting your info, absolutely do not use rednote. It wasn’t made for you to begin with. Accusing them of doing what they promised they would do however is a bit strange to me.
That’s China. They censor everything that could be viewed as an attack on something. Regardless of its veracity. It’s something the west doesn’t understand. They’re not censoring to hide something, they just censor regardless.

I mean joking aside, that’s what this means yes. It’s a common negotiation tactic. It’s like the businessman who comes into a meeting saying he’s never had to sell so the price is going to be very high.
But yes, this also matches up with the joke that whatever Russia says, believe the opposite. Except in this particular case it’s literally part of the art of negotiations. Not the Trump book.
Ah ha ha ha ha ha. USA tried. It failed so hilariously bad that they’re now actively protesting against new rail. There’s this crazy thing, rail needs to be near places people actually want to go. But those places have NIMBY voters, so populated areas won’t get rail. Instead they go to empty parking garages near malls. And then shocker, no one rides. It’s so bad in Denver that they’re using them as a case study to prevent expansion in Utah.
This is the problems with western thinking. Everything has to do with the west. Everything China does apparently is because of the west, or in this case USA. This has nothing to do with the west or USA. It also doesn’t really have all that much to do with humanity either. As many have noted, China cares about China. Since they care about China, it’s in their best interest to fund something like the WHO in order to prevent diseases spreading as that can obviously effect China. Diseases don’t care about borders.
It’s the same reason China cares about green tech. Sure it helps humanity, but it’s mostly to save China for the future Chinese. If the side effect is the world gets cleaner, all the better. Of course the west twists it as China is developing green tech to have a monopoly on green tech. Hey, if you can do better, do it. Otherwise you’re literally burning down the world because China does it better.
