Ha. I remember around the 00’s the Best Buy website had increased prices if you went to the site while in the store. Checking the site from home had lower prices to compete with online stores.

In the future I predict it will add a “share” button. And the more engagement you get on social media is how you can earn discounts and stuff.

When I worked at Best Buy I attended two full paid meetings about the horrors of unions when the Obama administration made it easier to create a union.

They even cancelled all our in home jobs one day for an anti union meeting

Holy crap I don’t know who at Best Buy wrote all those presentations but the language they used was a master class in brainwashing. I probably would be a flat earther of they spent enough time crafting their wording 😄

Sure the bottom of the article said it was from the AP but I am not sure if Newsmax is covering their butss or is purposefully copy pasted AP so their fan base, er, users, will get more outraged.

Scythe Expeditions, Great Western Trail Argentina, and very unlikely Heat as stores in North America are only getting maybe a dozen each today.

I wouldn’t say leaning right but making more people care less about voting?

After all it’s easier to convince you all candidates suck than convince you to lean right?

At my public school we were told that dual immersion classes do not post the order of getting in because parents harassed teachers into putting their kids up the list.

I feel there is still life in it, like with Superfight. It encourages debating to the judge and pairs cards directly with each other granting more interaction.

And if you count Dixit/Mysterium/Obscurio as a judge/committee pick game I would love to see more people take a stab at judge pick games

But it is a shame Superfight seems to be dwarfed by other mass market games.

The only saving grace for Wingspan fore are the achievements in the digital version. I enjoyed having some bizarre setups needed to unlock the chievos and as a result I got better at the game I feel and was able to sort of get around the luck of the draw style.

What sent Wingspan into the stratosphere of popularity was more tapping into the non gamer middle age market with articles like the NYTimes.com at the time spreading the word.

Had it not pulled a Wii (a term I use when a company attracts a new demographic) I imagine Wingspan would have hovered around or above Viticulture popularity.

On the plus side Blood Rage is a dead seller at our store compared to Rising Sun which still sells out at wholesale for months on end

“New Phone Who Dis?” From the WhatDoYouMeme people. I imagine it sells regularly, but going in with low expectations for a judge-picks-card game this one somehow makes it really hard to think up of humor.

The sentences are longer and specific you can’t let your imagination run wild.

Obviously a cash in but felt like such a beyond low effort
