People have a serious bias towards what they can see. They can see protesters but they can’t see pollution. Effective protests are hard to ignore. So they see protesters as a bigger problem than polluters.

The bot isn’t doing the thinking, it’s giving you context and info on the source which if anything helps inform your decision making.
As to general dislike of bots and wanting to interact with people I can’t fault you on that, it’s not like there’ll be less bots moving forward.
