I like AI for a couple things here and there when I elect to use it. When I am forced to use it and I did not elect it, I fucking hate it.
I’m not sure if you’ve realized, but that means nothing. It has become abundantly clear that the law (and lawsuits) are used by the ruling class and not against them. When used against them, it doesn’t matter. They either ignore the fines, pay the pennies, tie it up in court, or in some other way get off scot free.
I’m all for protesting, but make no mistake, people will be made an example of, and it won’t be the oppressors.
Ha! Very funny that you mention Jock Jams Volume 2.
When my wife was in labor with our first daughter, and it came time to push, the album she wanted to listen to was Jock Jams Volume 1.
We just had our second daughter yesterday, we are still in the Maternity ward. Guess what album we listened to during the pushing part of labor? That’s right…
Jock Jams Volume 2.
Funny story. LG made something with a similar concept about 10 years ago and it never really took off. The LG G5 was a modular smart phone that was supposed to have a bunch of cool modules, but they never came to fruition.
I had one, but mostly because I loved having a swappable battery. Never had to charge my phone, I would just have a spare battery charging on my desk and I would swap it out before I left the house.
Nope. It’s New Mexico. Right in the name.
Roasted broccoli squad checking in. This guy’s is missing out.
Actually most vegetables. Roast them in the oven with a tiny bit of oil, salt, and pepper. They always come out delicious.
Visions of Mana. I’m almost at the end and I have been putting off beating it because then I will be sad.
I was pretty confused by redhats at first. I was like “Hey man, I thought people liked Linux around here”
Oh my fucking god. Thank you!
Confusion like this got me my current job. They were looking for somebody with experience in “Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager”, and I look that up and I’m like “Oh, that’s SCCM, I do that”. Go through the interview process they keep asking me if I know Endpoint Configuration Manager and I’m like “yeah, for sure”. I get the job. Day one, the other systems engineer is like “here is the link to our Endpoint Manager Tenant”, and I’m like “oh… Shit I have never ever used this”
Well… Ends up Endpoint Configuration Manager and Endpoint Manager are two different things. Fortunately for me they are pretty similar in function and rely on knowledge of Windows and Powershell, which I know.
So my first 2 weeks of work was taking a shitload of courses in Endpoint Manager and watching a lot of videos and learning it inside and out.
2 years later and I’m an Endpoint Manager/Intune pro.
Stray
Binding of Isaac Rebirth
Disco Elysium
Dark Souls Remastered (don’t think it was even on sale, but I have never played a souls game and was told this was a good place to start)
Basically a bunch of big hits that I never got around to. I’m starting with Stray, it’s relaxing and fun. I played a little Dark Souls, but I need to come back to that when I have more time to focus.
I was also looking at Death must Die. I played the shit out of Vampire Survivors, and I’ve heard DMD is more of the same.
Last big StamDeck game for me was Hades 2. Loved the original and 2 was just as fun. I know it’s not fully complete, but I unlocked everything available and upgraded most of the gear all the way. I can’t wait for the full release.
Linus was ahead of the game on this one. Nvidia should start building data centers next to public pools. Cool the systems and warm the pools.
Not quite correct. The 2020 image should have a car completely covered in a dust of green pollen because city planners only planted male trees for decades because female trees would produce fruit or seed and be a “nuisance” and/or create trash/animal bait etc…
But if they only planted female trees, they would never get fertilized, so they wouldn’t produce fruit anyway… Or pollen.
Worst case scenario, they would produce fruit, and cities would still smell bad and have rodent problems. But without the allergies.
There is no cow level.
I have really annoying hearing. I’m not sure how to fully describe it but my ears are super tuned into sounds. Very often I will be sitting with my wife or somebody else and I am like “do you hear that?” and they are like “wtf are you talking about?” and I have to be like “Shhh… That! Did you hear it?” and they are like “no wtf” and then I’m like “Wait no no… Wait… That! Did you hear it?” and they are like “Wait yeah… How tf did you hear that while we were talking? Were you paying attention?” and I’m like “No, I wasn’t because I kept hearing this noise”…
Like… Sometimes people’s voices just sound like noises and I can’t hear them unless I focus because my ears are listening to the noises around me. It can be really frustrating.
There will always be a “step further we’d love to see but won’t”
I dunno, it could be really bad out there. We like to have really romanticized versions of space exploration in our brain. Like finding I habitable planets and other intelligent life. But what if that other intelligent life is super far advanced, and also capitalists. And they figured out how to inject advertisements into brains. And they want to share their technology with us.
I don’t understand why anything anti capitalism these days is automatically communism. It’s such a large swing from one side to the other. I just want my taxes to pay for healthcare, infrastructure, and education instead of wars and prisons. I want to stop getting fucked by corporations that have infinitely more money than I can ever imagine. I don’t think that makes me a communist. I’m just anti-fucking-the-people. Capitalism can fuck people. Communism can fuck people too. I support Corpo-Politico-Celibacism. Stop the fucking.
Edit: Okay, fuck the people. You guys must have this figured out.
Yeah, I feel like people are missing the part where he literally said “Could offer incentives (Air Jordans, etc.)”
He is very clearly talking about a certain demographic, but because he didn’t explicitly say it, he can still deny it. But we all know exactly what he meant.
