I’ve always left them on and let them flow down. My spider plant sits up high like you’ve got yours. About the only times I trim them is if the babies get too bushy, if i want to propagate them into a new plant, or if they start to brown up.

Damn it. Was going to ask if they needed a 6th ranger.
One time I had to buy 40 watermelons for a local festival, and ended up having to get them from the grocery store. Didn’t want to bruise them, so I filled 4 carts up and made multiple trips to the checkout. For a moment there, I was the lady from all the math problems.

I planted 8 Asiatic lilies two weeks ago, and the deer ate them all down to the ground. And my hibiscuses. And stripped my cherry tree I planted last year down to a stick.
Suburban deer are the worst.

Oh no! Anyway…
Good to know. Thanks!
Mostly just trying to not waste the water when running it to preheat it for the dishwasher since it takes a while because it’s on the far end of the house from the hot water tank. Guess I could just dump it in the rain barrel which should dilute it.
