  • Maybe, but he had already spun the fake news narrative to his deciples, so it was easy for them to hand wave all of the convictions away as fake news based on absolutely no evidence.

Given the relative intelligence of each set of followers, I’m not surprised that they could do the mental gymnastics to disregard such a verdict.

Meanwhile, I’m not even sure Gaiman has been convicted, but he’s being treated like he’s guilty by the public, so here we are.

I just haven’t bothered to keep up to date with his situation because, though I previously enjoyed things with his name attached, I’ve never been “a fan” so to speak, of the man himself. I neither liked, nor disliked him. Now I have reasons to dislike him. IDK. I’m just some guy.

  • You see, the difference is… Supporting Gaiman makes you seem like a rape enabler… And anything related to rape is bad.

You want to discriminate against gay/trans/black/brown people? It might be distasteful, but it’s not universally considered bad. There’s lots of people out there willing to vote a Nazi into the white house and cheer him on as he breaks the law to deport anyone and everyone he wants to just because they’re “not from here” (or they think they’re “not from here”).

See, they’re not the same thing.

  • Hilariously, light is an electromagnetic wave.

So, yes, we can see electromagnetic waves… Just, only a very small segment of them.

How wrong he was. Now we use EM daily for everything… Communicating via Wi-Fi, listening to music in the car (FM broadcast), or via Bluetooth and using LTE… Even heating our food. Not to mention medical applications like X-rays…

There’s a shitload of stuff we use EM for without even thinking. It’s all around us, all the time, like the matrix. I love EM science.

This goes to show you that, just because someone discovered a thing, doesn’t mean that they have any idea what to do with that discovery, or that the discoveries end there…

Before, reality was just what humans could touch, smell, see, and hear, but after the publication of the charged electromagnetic spectrum, we now know that what we can touch, smell, see, and hear, is less than one-millionth.

  • Herein lies the problem.

    There is no due process.

There is no law except what they choose to enforce.

You will not see a judge.

You will never be convicted by a jury of your peers.

You will just die, or be sent off to a place where you will likely wish that you were dead.

This is not law enforcement. This is not legal. They will not follow their own laws, why would you? If they come for you, fight like your life depends on it, because it probably does.

  • You must play along.

The fact is that the reality is thinly veiled. They know that if they were not being paid to be there to interview me, they wouldn’t be, but they “tow the company line” anyways. I mirror the same back at them… Oh yeah, profits uh huh, shareholders, yeah, totally.

They know I don’t care about any of that, but if you’re not willing to at least try to pretend, then it demonstrates that you lack the diplomatic skill to hear, understand, and feedback the horseshit that the company will peddle, and you’ll be able to survive all the HR, managerial, team building nonsense they’re going to throw at you while you’re there.

They know you don’t care and just want the paycheque, because that’s what they want too. Nobody needs to say it.

  • America is cooked.

    Peaceful protest? Nah. Violent insurrection.

you don’t matter to them and they think the only opinion you should have is theirs

Anything that violates that makes you a threat to national security, a terrorist, and a criminal. If they won’t respect the rule of law, neither should you.

Defund the police. Fire everyone on that police force. They’re all rotten and crooked.

… It won’t happen since the owners of America actually want this to happen.

Here’s the fact: one way or another they finally put someone who is mentally insane enough to push their policies, into the Whitehouse. Now that he’s there, they will push their beliefs onto everyone as a matter of law. If you obey the law, they’ll win by default since the laws are currently theirs to control. If you protest and revolt, it’s a violent terrorist insurrection that must be quelled, and you become a military dictatorship and the same outcome happens as before, but now with more guns and violence. You can’t win by doing nothing. You can’t win by doing something.

    You can’t win.

Also, “they” in this context is the people who have long since bought and paid for the house, the Senate, the supreme Court, the police, the feds… They’re the corporate interests that are hostile to your continued existence and freedom. You can exist but only as they permit. Freedom is actively being robbed from the American people.

If any of this is shocking or unclear to you, then I’m afraid you’re not paying attention.

  • Days in lieu, from working OT on salary… IMO, is required.

I don’t work for free; if you’re paying me to be present for specific hours, regardless if it’s salary or not, then I expect to work during those hours and not any other time.

If, as a salary employee, I’m paid for results and as long as I meet my deadlines (and deadlines are reasonable) I can work whenever, then yeah, I’ll probably put in unpaid OT sometimes. I’ll tell you something though… With my level of experience, it would be unusual for anything to take so long that it requires that I work more than what is typical.

  • Let’s stop mincing words here.

You want me because I have a particular set of skills that you think will be helpful to you in your pursuit of profit.

I want your job because I can leverage the skills I have for money and benefits that will provide food, and shelter.

    Your main concerns are profits.

    My main concerns are survival.

Employment is where these things meet in the middle. Let’s not pretend that we’re here because we’re friends. We are not family. Fuck you, pay me.

  • I gave up on Facebook when they banned my account for the second time after providing evidence that I exist in both cases.

Technically, my account is still “under review”, for the past 8 years.

I used this name, Mystik Incarnate, because, believe it or not, there are more people who know me by this name, compared to how many know me by my legal name.

I remember that Facebook challenged my name back in the day, like 10+ years ago. I took a form of ID and made it say “Mystik Incarnate” as my name, sent that in, and they unblocked my account for a while. A few years later and they did it again. By then, I was already on the fence whether or not I wanted to maintain a Facebook account… But I submitted basically the same thing and… Well… It’s still “being reviewed”.

I do have an account under my legal name, mainly as a collector of messages for people that know me professionally or something that are trying to reach out. I check it every few months at most; but that account has no friends, no connections, nothing. I only keep it so people can message me. I don’t use their apps or anything, I only log in on the website and usually incognito so that they can’t track me across the web.

Every time I see someone’s logged in Facebook account, I’m disgusted by how cancerous it has become. Anyone who reaches out to me on that platform I usually try to have them connect with me by email, or some other chat program that’s more trustworthy.

    Fuck Meta.
