I like that they outline what they don’t like about it, point out that other distros do those things better, then proceeds to say “yeah I guess windows in the superior option” especially after 2 decades of using Linux. Fucking wild

I’ve only ever gotten it through amazon (Dutch white cover iirc). Since I’m no longer using Amazon, I’m looking for an alternative too.
Worth noting that the wired version is fully supported with ckb next, the wireless one is only experimentally supported. I can’t get it to work with my wireless one, but it at least as onboard memory so I can set binds/rbg with a different computer as needed
I think that’s more accurate lol
I really like to tread that line
Thanks, I’ll give this a go too!
That’s a fair point too. Its not the same PSU, but I’m doing a lot more with the server that might be using beyond its capability
That’s a fair point too. I’m really hoping it’s not a hardware problem, but I’ll definitely take a look at that
I greatly appreciate the additional info. I’ll finally be able to take a look in the morning. Hopefully I find something obvious and easy to fix lol
Yeah I really don’t know that I’m looking for unfortunately. I was something would jump out at me. I’m pretty new to Linux altogether so I’m kind of winging a lot
Thanks, I’ll see what I can find with that
My main PC only stays on for a couple days at a time (on sleep/hibernate when not in use) only because I’m generally too lazy to shut all programs down. I reboot on updates though, which is every couple days.

I use it on my work laptop and recently put it on my Mom’s computer (basically a browser machine anyway) as well. So far so good on both. The only thing my mom doesn’t like is that the file explorer is called dolphin, she said it’s confusing. I plan on using a menu editor to change the name, then all is well.
Nednarb44@lemmy.worldto vegan@lemmy.world•Is Cultivated Meat Vegan? The Vegan Society Says “Not Enough to Support it”English15·7 months agoI can see why it isn’t vegan right now. Its also not hard to imagine that in the future it doesn’t need animal cells for the process. Claiming that it will never be vegan is just an unnecessary addition that only makes people look overly pessimistic and stuck in their ways. Just leave it at “it’s not currently vegan”
Also complaining that other forms of suffering will still exist, like wool gathering and leather etc is just being stupid. How does that help the conversation? Does some new technology have to eliminate all forms of animal suffering to be a good step forward?
Cheers! I appreciate the response. Given the examples, it makes a lot more sense
What are some examples of that in your day to day life? If you don’t mind sharing.
That does help. One of the things on my to do list was setting up a backup system anyway, so maybe I’ll play with that. Thanks!
Ive definitely had it too. Its fixed my just clicking and dragging the tab over, but it’s still pretty frustrating.
