They have a Mastodon instance for the EC: https://ec.social-network.europa.eu/
Which is a start
I think anime can be quite good at psychological horror, but yeah visual horror not so much. Like you suggest, I do think the disconnect might simply be too much, although I feel visual novels can be pretty good at it (haven’t played any, but that’s what I hear).
Makes me wonder, are there any western animations that do good horror?
Mostly Kobo
Keeping an eye on this thread. I’ve tried many FOSS music apps, but never found one as nice as the non-FOSS Pulsar, particularly in regards to playlist functionality.
Totally, but the dire wolf is not one of them
that disappeared because of humans and restoring ecosystems are possible ones
Yeah, 10,000 years ago. Is it really restoring when the ecosystem has been functioning for such a long period without it? Wouldn’t it sooner disrupt it?
No worries. Have fun.
You made me check out Telework Yotabanashi again and I found out that there apparently was an official translation released, so thanks to you too haha
Other than Wotakoi, the only ones I can think of, and are worthwhile imo, are ‘Science Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove It’, ‘Astro Note’ and ‘Recovery Of An MMO Junkie’ though the latter 2 aren’t really full on romances.
I can think of a few manga though, if that’s okay with you:
joyless and dire in tone. I got a good bit of stress in my life at the moment and AoT didn’t seem like what I need right now
Yeah that’s fair
Attack On Titan doesn’t drag in my opinion and I totally recommend it. The 1st season is the “worst” of the bunch, but still a decent action anime, after that it becomes really solid with good suspense, mystery and political games (a lot of action too of course, but it takes a backseat).
This doesn’t need to be an anime
Flying Witch and K-On probably
Startpage is basically a different frontend for Google and doesn’t have this
For me it’s Makeine and NieR Automata
All that to say that these seem to be the wrong tools for what you’re actually trying to do.
Yeah, seems like it. Thanks for the explanations though.
Am I? I have no idea, I just use MakeMKV to rip the disc. No idea how else to rip the disc. I’m not doing anything else to them. No Handbrake or whatever.
I’m not, but I can imagine the uploaded hashes might have been compressed
There seem to be Bluray entries in AniDB, but I can’t tell if it’s the same version. I have UK region Blurays, so maybe that’s it.
But I think I’m gonna leave Shoko be and try something else
