I just wonder if plex will ever sell the list of movies and IP address of everyone. Many people have the ARRs to auto download, even stuff still in theaters. What good is a VPN when plex knows your email and IP.

Reduce and reuse. Recycling is the last resort.
Donate to thrift stores. sell on eBay, Craigslist, marketplace, swap meets, yard sales, etc. Give to friends and neighbors.
Keep what you need, keep what makes you happy. Judge what you actually need to keep. I got rid of so many things before moving, some I am happy I did and some I regret. But since I regret it, I know that I may find that same item again and to keep an eye for it. At least I can always get those items again, so getting rid of it wasn’t that bad.
Relationships are built on trust. Cheating breaks that trust. That trust will never fully come back 100%. There so always be doubt and it will never be the same.
Figured I would update everyone. We have land and an RV to live in now. Working from home and working on the land. Lots of great neighbors and support. Life is way better now.
Shorts are way too short to learn anything, I find most of them useless or stupid trash. I only seen a few good shorts. Ugh so bad. Also isn’t YouTube loosing money on shorts, just to compete with TikTok… ugh
This is what I am going with now, I canceled my domain when moving and now I get a letter that I have money at patreon but can not log in without 2fa from the email on that domain, but it’s expensive now. I am loosing money when I need it most.
I also have the xreal glasses, they are great (as long as you keep your head still). I really enjoy them for playing games. Lots of people use them for movies and tons of other uses. It’s like having a huge OLED tv on the wall.
I just moved across states.
I took everything apart, packed the equipment in boxes using tons of padding. Any extra space in the boxes was filled with extra cables and more padding. Rack mounts that I have come completely apart.
My main servers have hard drives, so I used a lot of foam all around the server and added trackers (air tags) to the servers and my camera stuff.
I’m now off grid so not really in a hurry to setup all this stuff, but happy it seems to have made it here in great condition. Eventually I will setup the rack mounts just to hold the equipment and maybe I will power on things here and there as I feel like playing with them again.
Maybe when she finds a way out of that abusive house she can truly bloom into the great version of herself that she seeks.
I think I learned about knoppix from the TV show “the screen savers” in the early 2000s. Played with it a few times on old laptops, scanning for open Wi-Fi lol
If you can not afford rent, there are alternatives such as living in a car or suv. It’s much cheaper. I lived in a car with my wife and cat for a while, but we are now in an RV on some land we own. If that is an option you are considering, check out the YouTube channel “cheap RV living” is where I learned most of what I needed to know. We had window vents, battery and solar, fridge for food, twin bed, and so much more in a little space.
Just make sure you have a job because everything cost money and things happen, just had to pay a fortune for the clutch in the car going bad.
I think I saw that they deny warranties because they (asus) will scratch your device and use that as an excuse to deny.
Yes, THEY DO LOVE YOUr money
Before I moved I used to use my web server.
My Domain . Com / files . Zip And I would set a password on the zip. After they download it, they tell me and I remove the file.

I also bought a few steam decks to “support” Linux. All the work steam did for Linux gaming was such an incredible great thing for the world!
Bought the 512gb for me, then bought the 64gb for my wife. She got my 512gb ssd when I upgraded to 1tb.
We are both happy with it, and soon after we upgraded our computers to Linux.
The only computer without Linux is an older intel MacBook with macOS and windows for when I really need it. (Running specific tools for modding, hacking, firmware updates, etc). I rarely use it but it comes in handy every few months.
The appeal for me to use immich is the AI search.
I have over 100,000 photos I have taken. I can do a search of “blue sky with pink clouds and a moon” and it will show me the photo I want.
The way I did it before would take me 2-3 days of looking at every photo one by one to find that photo.
The other benefit of the server is I can access all these apps from my laptop, phone, desktop, or using my VPN from anywhere in the world.
The one that was way more useful then expected is immich. I have over 100,000 photos I took during my life and it usually takes me DAYS to find a specific picture I need.
I installed immich and let it AI scan everything for a week or something. Now I can search for something specific like “it’s a black square in the middle of the photo and has a little knob on it” and it finds me the photo I need.
It’s also cool to see photos of people, organized by the individual by searching their name or clicking on their face.
I have seen so many of those pop up headlights broken, one up and one down. Turn on headlights and they switch which is up and down. lol
