Debian? They have good ARM support (the raspberry pi OS is based on Debian, uses its repos). Definitely also install flatpak. Most, but not all, flatpaks have arm builds.

Pixelfed is more like Mastodon for images, you follow people not communities.

GNOME Web, qutebrowser, Konquerer and Falkon. While they are pretty obscure, I personally use Falkon regularly on low end systems/RPi

Anyone know the title?
That only works if you find someone who accepts your money. The difference to crypto is that most people accept money, only few accept crypto
“Bro, I’ll trade your food for this fancy piece of paper”
“What can I do with it”
“Trade it for more food with a bigger fool than you”
“I’m in”
(Not saying that you’re wrong, just your argument is stupid)

RmDebArc_5@lemmy.mlto Linux@lemmy.ml•In your opinion, which distro should I try to edit videos stably?English3·1 year agoStandard Ubuntu is slightly slower than standard Mint, but apps not in the App Store (like DaVinci resolve) are mostly designed for Ubuntu so they work best on Ubuntu, but for apps like Kdenlive it doesn’t matter
RmDebArc_5@lemmy.mlto Linux@lemmy.ml•In your opinion, which distro should I try to edit videos stably?English5·1 year agoKdenlive has the option to use proxy clips. Makes it way faster. You could also try a other video editor like Shotcut. The DaVinci resolve Deb works best on Ubuntu in my experience. As for a distro Linux mint is a good choice, you could try the XFCE version as it’s more lightweight. If you choose Kdenlive, maybe try the package if you’re using the flatpak or the opposite, as sometimes one of the versions works better
If you purchase it and they can still take it away from you at will, it isn’t something that can be owned. If it isn’t something that can be owned, piracy isn’t stealing because for it to be stealing somebody would have to own it.
I think it’s probably because they’re from Mastodon, hashtags are more used there

RmDebArc_5@lemmy.mlto Linux@lemmy.ml•When Windows 10 dies, I am going to jump ship over to Linux. Which version would you recommend for someone with zero prior experience with Linux? **Edit: Linux Mint it shall be.**English16·1 year agoDebian is Debian based and regular Mint is Ubuntu LTS based and use theirs respective repos (not a big difference for the average user). While currently the non Debian version is the main and recommended version, due some controversial changes in Ubuntu people want to move away from Ubuntu and the devs have considered making the Debian edition the main one.

If I understand correctly this is just an extension so I don’t mind. But personally I’d prefer if they worked on their collaboration (Office) rather than some AI stuff
