There is three bodies that can start an investigation by the constitutional court to ban a party. The federal government. The federal parliament and the state assembly composed of representatives of the state governments.
The federal government, both outgoing and new one already made it clear they have no intentions to start the procedure.
The federal parliament whose majority coalition forms the government also has only shown lackluster motivation.
It is unlikely that the state of Bremen will manage to get a majority in the state assembly as the majority of state governments is run by the reactionary CDU/CSU and the now right wing and often authoritarian and racist SPD. Also states need to agree on a position for their vote in the state assembly to be considered.
In the current political climate this ia good to do, but there is a long way to success as the majority political powers want to keep the AfD around to secure their position and to justify their own racist ans inhumane policies as “moderate” in comparision.
I mean the world can fix a broken US democracy by boycotting the US entirely on all fronts until a democratic country emerges.

By this logic the Dems held onto Biden and then Harris with the intent to loose the election. Which… kind of makes sense given how they were more focused on keeping progressives out, as these seem to be the real danger from their perspective, not the fascists under Trump.

All that voting Blue did in the past two decades was kicking the can down the road, while blocking aerious efforts to form a political power willing to bring the can back up the road.
Trump isn’t an anomaly. Trump is the symptom of a broken system that was deliberately broken further and further with bipartisan support. And we still see the Democrats staying at breaking things further and helping Trump instead of forming a proper opposition.
They still rather fight progressives like AOC and Sanders than fighting Trump.
People were very outspoken about the whole supporting genocide thing. The party made sure to shut them out. People were also very outspoken about Biden being too senile to run again and the party instead gaslighted everyone with claiming that pointing out the most evident and obvious truth would in fact be a malicious scheme to help Trump. Only when it became impossible to lie about it for them, they quickly switched Harris in.
And when people pointed at the party loosing to Trump again, they came up with all sorts of reasonings including hating on the minorities that felt betrayed by the party for not being blindly loyal to them.
And now we are seeing them still supporting Trump in various ways and fighting teeth and nails to keep any progressives out of power in the party.
As long as you say you are willing to vote for them, they will not listen. They take your vote for granted and they rather help to turn the US into full fascism than listen to normal folks who don’t want their life to become worse and worse every year to make some billionaires richer.
It is not a crime if someone was breaking into your home, you were fearing for your life and defended yourself. By law actual law enforcers would have a warrant.
Also if the question of whether it is a suspected state crime or a federal crime depends on who the employer of that person is, the US would be outside the scope of a state of law and resistance all the more mandated.
