It was significantly harder to set up remote access for Jellyfin than Plex 6 months ago. I ha ent attempted since. With Plex there was literally no set up, it just works. Until it just works without having to do any extra work, Jellyfin will struggle with adoption.

I have both running, and thatd a big difference to me. Also I prefer the way Plex detects intros and credits for skipping and their detection for captions. Once that’s all sorted Jellyfin wins in every field.

I do this too but it only works on my home network not remotely.

With the caviat that you have tailscale enabled on both devices. This prevents it from being used on a roku outside your home but you could access it remotely from your computer/phone/tablet.

It is significantly harder than Plex, currently. There are improvements happening all the time though.

If that’s the case… it’s better, but I really would rather them not be able to wear the uniform or have police powers off duty outside of an emergency.

I’m not vegan and I agree completely. It’s totally obvious meat is a good protein source. What people need to be shown are inexpensive, easy, proteins needed to balance a diet. My meat intake naturally declined the more I learned to cook and educated myself on nutrition and other ingredients. The US dietary guidelines should always be encouraging inexpensive and sustainable sources of nutrition. Beef and chicken doesnt need any help getting the word out.

Shipping would get soooo expensive. I ship all over the US and the pricing from UPS and FedEx stays competitive with USPS, and often USPS will do the last mile delivery in more rural zones. If you remove the limiting price point that the USPS provides to the market, these private shippers will raise prices so high, so fast, it’ll make your head spin.

The margins these companies are willing to charge an individual is actually obscene. I ship pallets every so often, so I have a FedEx freight shipping contract. It discounts my freight costs ~90%. For anyone without a business and no contract they’re happy to charge you 10x more they need to. They profit off the price they charge me, they rake you over the coals because they can. If they have more opportunities to do that, they will.

People aren’t all black and white. The more people try to demonize these guys and their viewers, the more credence is given to them when they say their detractors are out of touch or lying. When we make obviously disprovable things up about the right wingers, it destroys all credibility. There’s real shit going on, and we need to stick to that.

Harris was given many opportunities to come on the show but refused to do so under the same conditions her opponent did. Her team wanted to change the circumstances of the show too much and wouldn’t come to him. Trump completely disregarded a preexisting obligation to go on his show.

If it were my show, I know who I would like better, putting politics aside. I feel like the Rogan episodes I’ve seen haven’t really shown him to be conservative, but he platforms alot of conservatives which can be construed with him being conservative himself.
