Sylvartas@lemmy.worldto vegan@lemmy.world•Impossible Foods Edges Closer To EU ApprovalEnglish3·7 months agoNot sure why it wasn’t. Beyond meat have been approved for a while and afaik they are pretty similar. Maybe I should read the article
Edit: it’s the fake muscle juice thing. I thought beyond had that too
True, but I don’t think many of them would say that to your face (including musk who I assume would pretend to be neolib, who do kind of have a hate boner for basic research, at least in my country)

Yeah but sometimes it might not because that is not the main goal ! Useless, I tell you !
Neolib idiots don’t see the (immense) value of fundamental research because it doesn’t directly generate profits, more at 11
Eldritch abomination looking ass
Do you really think that either of them are going to pay any significant amount to be the default?
I can see Bing doing it. And Google is so far gone that it would probably be an improvement
Hahaha sorry about that, the .uk domain threw me off. For what it’s worth I like the Scottish accent more than the British one 😅
Incroyable ! Je ne m’attendais certainement pas à ce qu’un anglais soit installé là-bas, parce que si je me souviens bien, économiquement c’est une des pires régions du pays. Mais la nature y est magnifique.
French person advice : idk how widespread they are internationally, but Nogent*** (also called “Nogent trois étoiles”) has a good one for half the price. My dad has been using one since before I was born, and the guy literally can’t live without bread.

I'm sure it does something logical and easy to understand.1·7 months agoI’ve never had to use it for important stuff tbh. But alongside a regex tester and a sample of the stuff I intend to use it on, I’ve had good results with an incremental approach where I tell the LLM what I want to change with the expression until I’m satisfied
Sylvartas@lemmy.worldto Programmer Humor@lemmy.ml•Oh boy what a beautiful regex. I'm sure it does something logical and easy to understand.2·7 months agoAll my homies hate regexs. That’s actually the best use case I found for LLMs so far : I just tell it what I want it to match or not match, and it usually spits out a decent one
Tell me about it, all the juniors were doing it at my old job, and I was usually the one tasked with fixing their shit. And since we basically didn’t do any form of mentoring (including code reviews) it was such a pain in the ass to get them to change their ways
Idk, I would not ruin a man’s life over the similarities. But then again I am quite terrible at telling faces apart
