Your sarcasm has information. I did spend a lot of money on a good ergonomic chair. Not a scam “gaming chair” but a good office one. I guess I’m not a true gamer :( But my mouse is on 3200 dpi, almost only wrist movements.
how old are you and how long did it take to develop? I’ve never hurt my hand while gaming, this “carpal tunnel” buzzword seems like a hoax to me. Should I be scared, and do some preventive mesures, or are some people just immune?
Also, I game A LOT, and I only experienced exhaustion a couple of timed after a whole day of fps games, no other genre did any strain on me.

Can I somehow not discard my changes tho? I always open a 2nd terminal in root only for vim when editing system files so I don’t have to re-do the whole config but this time in sudo.

I know of maybe two people who use it and I don’t understand why. The UI is very outdated, the function keys are hard to press, and it forces two windows. I’m genuinely asking what are it’s upsides that anyone would choose to use it?
I just block everyone who tries to

UnRelatedBurner@sh.itjust.worksOPto Programming@programming.dev•How to make watch faces1·4 months agoI tried this as well. I believe it was the first one. I found it also limiting, there are some logic that you could use, but not enough. I wanted different functionality on different days, and KWCH’s solution is to manually change the variables every morning. Thanks for the tip nevertheless!
UnRelatedBurner@sh.itjust.worksOPto Programming@programming.dev•How to make watch faces2·4 months agoThis links to watch face studio, which I tried and it’s main selling point: no need for coding, it why it’s not an option for me. Custom coding and unique features it where it’s at. Displaying time using words, countdowns, progress bars, timetables, etc. This app can’t do anything fun.
re-reading this I found a name drop for “Jetpack Watch Face libraries”. I’m gonna look into what that is.
UnRelatedBurner@sh.itjust.worksto Programming@programming.dev•Why hasn't gradle been adopted for C/C++ projects?12·4 months agono please don’t. Whenever I try to install something old and I realise it’s written in java I just give up after days of trying or end up with like 4 java versions installed and different dependencies need different versions.
I see gradle written while doing so, thus I associate it with HELL.
I read “arise” and now I’m shaking and crying

Just give up. You can’t win here. I also hate the near perfect echo-chamber liberals have here on lemmy, but there’s nothing to get out of arguing here.
I just wish they’d leave their crying out of memes…

Stalled means that it can’t find anyone that can give you the parts, but the fact that you downloaded some of it means someone at least has them. Eventually it’ll download. Try opening the port.
Or again, I’m willing to seed it for a while.
Technically there is a chance that the full file isn’t available, in that case there’s nothing to do. You can check: There got to be an
availability
listed per peer, or somewhere. Meaning you can check how much % other’s got. If you see anyone with 100% or the highest guy’s % is growing it’s available. Never had anything like this happen to me tho, I’m talking based on theory.
Aye, fair enough. Well it was a fun read, so keep it up
