That doesn’t answer the question though, does it? I’ve been using a silicon carbon battery phone for over a year now and it’s the best battery experience I have ever had with any phone, by far. And it’s a foldable!
Charging is also the fastest I’ve ever experienced in a phone. 5000mAh and 60W PD charging.
I will never buy a lithium battery phone again, ever. So if Samsung wants me back as a customer, they will have to switch. And I don’t understand why American and Korean phone manufacturers are taking so long with this.
Barefoot shoes! Started wearing them 2 years ago and will never go back. I hadn’t even realized how much regular shoes crammed my toes together until I started wearing actually foot-shaped shoes. And my feet are narrow.
I wouldn’t be surprised if on average women’s feet were narrower than men’s, but even if that’s the case, just make narrow and wide versions of shoes and let people pick the ones that fit their feet. Surely there are men with narrow feet and women with wide feet. It just makes no sense.
As a woman, I think it’s stupid that shoes are gendered in the first place. My shoe size is in the realm that exists for both men’s and women’s shoes. So in shoe stores I can grab the same sneakers from the women’s and the men’s section. Just sort the damn shoes by size and let people pick the ones they like ffs.
Ok so are there any big protests planned, on a Sunday, with enough time to prepare?
As a naive European, please someone explain: Why aren’t there more people protesting? I don’t get it. They don’t even state a number here and these pictures look like it’s been just a handful of people.
I’m in Germany and after a conservative democratic party voted with the far right AfD in a ballot in parliament last week, there were mass protests with hundreds of thousands of people all across Germany. There were about 200.000 people in Berlin alone.
Meanwhile I feel like in the US, democracy is currently being replaced by fascism in no time and everybody just kind of watches?
I really think he should consider making this app open source in case he doesn’t plan on continuing development. He’d be remembered as the guy who made the best open source Lemmy app instead of the guy who made people buy his app and then disappeared a few months later.
I would like to recommend the recipes by Christina Souteriou. I’ve been following her online for a while and she just published her first book called “Big Veg Energy”. I cooked probably 10-15 of her recipes so far and they were all great. I think it might be exactly what you’re looking for.
Yeah, I swipe probably 80-90% of the time, maybe even more. Gboard works pretty well for me. It’s just way faster than typing every letter individually. Especially long words usually have a pretty good detection rate. For example writing this text I had to correct maybe 3 words, the rest was detected correctly on the first try and it takes me 1-2 seconds per word.
That’s great to hear. I just swiped a lot of words, hope it helps 😄
For a second I really thought I had now finally found an alternative to Gboard but unfortunately the swiping detection is really poor and I need it to be able to use German and English at the same time. So I guess it’s still back to Gboard. :(
This actually sounds like a really nice feature. Hope my Android phone will get it with an update.
Por que no los dos
Some are really good (and some are awful - looking at you, “Flora Plant”). If they sell Bionella where you live, try it, it’s vegan, organic and fair trade and it tastes just as good as Nutella.
For me it’s the super compact view that I miss. None of the other apps comes close to how clear and tidy Sync looks, and none have the option to put the preview on the left and the “view” button on the right. I guess I could get used to it being different, but currently I have multiple Lemmy clients installed but I keep gravitating back towards Sync even though the posts aren’t marked as read which is seriously annoying.
Ah, thanks. Found the setting, show scores was disabled. Guess I did that accidentally while looking for a setting to fix the mark as read thing.
Ok but why is it too difficult for American manufacturers and not for Chinese ones?
