Nobody asks the really important question: Whose wool is it, they are wearing?

Don’t say that! Hearing such things cramps the rectum of the sadistic manchild offspring of a dictatorial clan, some here really want to crawl into.

Wow, your education system really has failed you.
Sure. People like to romanticize the past and the Wiedervereinigung was a shitty process that fucked many people over. But it is nice, not to live in a Planwirtschaft, to travel to other german cities without being shot at or running through mine fields and not to have a quarter of your neighbourhood spy on you to be brought to one of the Stasi torture prisons for not being socialist enough.
Evolution is really great. I was able to make Kmail work, so because it integrates best into Plasma, I am using that. But setting it up was not a fun experience.

Are you sure, you always have the right opinions? Come on, let’s make sure and watch a person with a funny face watch other things and move said face in a way, we can immitate!
Nothing happened. It is the same as always. There was no time, when graphics (and audio) weren’t the hottest shit to talk about. We did that in the 90s in ads, game magazines and in the schoolyard. And the people before us did the same. The buzzwords back then were different but that’s all.
Maybe stop watching youtubers, if that annoys you? Idk.

Oh man, wanted to play AW2 someday. I didn’t know it was only on Epic. Fuck those guys.

Vegan cat food was unthinkable for a long time because of the lack of taurine. Now they only need to become able to sell those products for a lower price and there won’t be any good arguments (i.e. not based on the naturalistic fallacy) against it. I mean as long as the cats in question will eat it. I heard, some cats are very picky in those matters.

Buying animals as pets from breeders is fucked up, yes. Stuffing cats full of vegan food that slowly kills them is as bad as feeding dogs raw animal carcasses because some shithead on the internet told you that this is the “natural” way.
But adopting street animals from regions where they are regularly abused and/or killed and with that helping to finance organizations who orchestrate castration programs in those places is not really “burgeois” or a way to “keep them an emotional service slave”.

Even if they continue to support manifest v2, even today the are selling „good“ ads to the users. That and the Crypto bullshit they tried a while ago makes them untrustworthy in my eyes.
Firefox is the only real alternative.

I mean, you can change that behaviour somehow. But there are so many other small things like the constant vendor changes. Zypper is just so quirky. It’s a cool distro and to have a rolling release option like tumbleweed is always a big plus in my opinion, but I just wouldn’t recommend it to people who are not really eager to play around with their distro.
I mean, all synthetic fleeces I ever had, where produced of 100 % recycled bottles. At least, Patagoni, Friluft et al claim that.
