  • Technically nothing illegal happening here. I mean he’s a shithead by the sound of it, but year of highschool left = 17 or 18, quite likely 18 since it’s summer right now. 18 year olds you can hire for 40 hour weeks even. Younger teenagers, fewer hours, but legal.

How do I know this? This shithead is from my country, at least according to his name. You don’t see the letter ‘ü’ in a lot of American names, do ya

Quick google says that 2 years ago he was still an intern. He’s probably something like 22, 23 himself. Working for multiple startups, at one of which he’s the CEO. He’s either hustling big time and will burn out soon, or he’s only pretending to do anything, and will fizzle out anyway.

Edit: Never mind, he’s 24. Q2, the company he runs with his friends paid 2k EUR in labor taxes, average monthly turnover is 3k. Sounds like they’re selling ChatGPT consulting services to someone, but just one client lol

  • Increments of 80 GB were fairly common. My desktop had an 80 GB Maxtor and my laptop later had 320 GB.

In hindsight, I do not remember if the Maxtor was definitely 80 GB, or if Windows was showing it as 80-something GB. But the laptop was definitely 320. I googled it. Google AI of course said “Based on Ebay listings it seems to be 1 TB”, very useful. Spec sheet says 320 GB.

  • Then you can pay more for your ticket. Simple fact is, to save money on fuel, the airline has to use the smallest possible airplane and have high seat density. Luxury airlines like Emirates or Etihad might have lower seating density but you’ll pay extra for the tickets.

Emirates CEO is asking Airbus to start building the A380 again, but in a new more fuel efficient version. Even gave them some design ideas. Reason being, that huge-ass plane can be better optimized for comfort due to economies of scale. Unfortunately I think they’re using a lot of that space for first class, which gets showers and shit.

In the US, supposedly JetBlue has more space in economy than the big 3 tend to. Willing to bet it’s more expensive too, but I wouldn’t know, I’ve only flown European airlines and cheap to midrange ones at that.
