Also the Music app on macOS is horrible. Very simple things like searching and navigating are buggy and seem like they’ve never been tested.

What’s garbage about it? It works great for me.

The biggest feature for me is the ability to use it on any network (cellular, vpn, WiFi, etc). I never see ads. Pihole can’t (easily) do that.

There’s wBlock if you can’t justify the cost. I just prefer supporting indie devs. Not sure how effective it is against YouTube ads though.
Yeah but Brave has creepy crypto stuff baked in. Safari doesn’t have a bunch of junk that needs to be disabled.
If you’re on iOS or use Safari on macOS Wipr will get rid of YouTube ads.
