I’ve seen a lot of people recently give it praise. I think 4, 9, and 12 all seem to be looked back at far better than their original reception.

Mine was final fantasy 12. I played that game so hard, really enjoyed it and if was released in the time of trophies I would have platinumed it. Even did the grinding for Gilgamesh to spawn for a sword or something. But I was hated at the time.
Now everyone is saying it was one of the best and I was proved right all along.
Sure the story was star wars and the main character wasn’t, but the combat system was really fun, way better than 13.
Both are great, but the drastically changed a lot in the 2nd. In UK they even called the sequel ‘Dark Chronicle’ rather than ‘Dark Cloud 2’.
At least the 2nd one removed the system where you could permanently lose your best weapons if you forgot to repair in time, they just become unusable.
The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. - Burke.
Yes it’s miserable, and I’m not sure if I’m doing anything at all, but turning away seems worse.
The vast majority of Brits still hate British landlords.
This is actually insane. Bringing tanks to a knife fight… except it’s not even a knife fight it’s a thumb war. This is going to cause country wide rioting and Trump’s only recourse will be to further up the anti. I feel worried for you guys.
I plan to eat so much every day, basically he same.
Not after I’m done, never be the same again…
Energy drinks have calories, that’s basically food.
Never knew it was commonly painful, I’ve heard from people I know it was like a slight pinch on insertion and then no pain afterwards.
I genuinely scrubbed the house better than a professional company would do it today in under 2 hours. Got in the mood.
The movements between Remy and the human were involuntary and instantaneous, I think we must assume they’re all quantumly entangled.
I wish I could remember more, it’s been about 20 years since I last read it though.
David Hume wrote about this exact thing in (I think) an enquiry concerning human understanding.
Essentially he said all thoughts come from 3 processes:
Cause and effect - think of smoke so think of fire etc.
Continuity in time and/or place - think of kettle so think of toaster etc.
Resemblance - think of a photo so think of the person etc.
The above example would be continuity in place, the carnival lead to thoughts in the same place.
Also cause and effect…why do bees die but wasps not?
Actually possibly resemblance too, as bees and wasps look similar.
I want to like Bill Gates, you’re probably right about PR. Even though I use Linux I still think he’s been a positive for humanity.
Labour are going to have to come up with something soon though or things could go bad; I get it’s their first year and they’re doing unpopular things early so they’re not fresh for next election, but they’re really unpopular right now.
Hubris means ‘overvalued confidence’ I believe. Whereas cajones etc is just stubborn confidence. Similar, but importantly different.
Wtf is flag day? I knew you guys were really into your flags, but that seems a bit much.
