No commentary playthroughs are on the opposite end of the spectrum but I feel really really bored watching them and I can’t say the same for let’s plays.

Haven’t tried it but I feel like the controls for it on the phone are gonna be messy. I’ll still try it regardless.

Maybe it’ll calm down for the future but that’s likely not gonna happen too soon. I’m thinking of passing the time without a PC for now. I don’t think I’ll able to afford a PC for a few years at best. Sorry for making it sound too dramatic in the post.

As for retroid pockets, I’ll see if there’s any in my area.
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English1·1 month agoIf you actually use Linux then I would appreciate an answer to the following question: Can I transfer a (pirated) PC game on my phone to Linux via either localsend or FTP Server? And how difficult is it to do?
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English1·1 month agoHow about future games like GTA 6 for instance? Are you willing to play temporary non-foss games with no immediate replayability and uninstall them afterwards? Just curious.
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English1·1 month agoYeah tbh I don’t actually use adobe products at all. I only want windows and games so that’s why I asked this question in the first place, piracy also included of course.
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English3·1 month agoWhat about games? Do you only play Foss?
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English3·1 month agoTo clarify, I use FMHY as my piracy wiki. Also, does disabling my internet also prevent connection of pirated software or no?
darkguyman@lemmy.dbzer0.comOPto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What do you all think about piracy?English2·1 month agoVideo games are an exception though, right? FOSS games exist but they’re not as good as indie games or good AAA games, the developers aren’t too dedicated because there is no direct benefit. Don’t get me wrong, almost all FOSS games are great but I don’t think they’re overwhelming the former any time soon. I also want to talk about operating systems and this is where most people will disagree with me but I believe that a pirated enterprise windows edition (from masgrave) is better than linux gaming-wise. I pirate games and playing pirated games on Linux is a bit harder than playing them normally IMO. This is the main reason I prefer using windows, once again PIRATED LSTC WINDOWS. Privacywise, you can also remove a lot of telemetry on LSTC too.
Requires registration. Also, are there no other instances of it? Also also, what protocol does it use?
