  • By not voting in Nazis. The people here are politically motivated and likely already voted for not-trunp, but did they volunteer, door knock, fund drive etc. We’ve all seen this coming for years. It’s exhausting to constantly fight it. We need to, globally.

Unfortunately, many are disengaged and are not prioritising politics. People are avoiding difficult conversations with racist family members. People are not forcing their non Nazi representatives to close the loopholes that caused this.

Would I do different? I don’t know. I hope so, but I can see how it’s hard. I have a family member who is quite liberal and started expressing some racist views. I was quite taken aback and have only pushed a little. It was enough that they don’t express then any more. But, could it be they just don’t express then to me?

  • Yeah, even look at Sony. Recent franchises include a genetically modified clone orphan living in a land of sentient machines with vivid colours.

A father daughter love story told in the time of a zombie apocalypse. (Recent is doing a lot of lifting, lol,)

A samurai warrior, believed dead in a beautiful version of Japan, who sues the wind for direction. Here it’s more the art direction.

Older hits, instead of using cars, used floating race pods. Some told stories using forward and back through time to allow a player and their inner soul/ghost explore areas differently. Others has you play as a set of androids staring to become sentient and making decisions for or against their programming, for their or others benefit.

The quirkiness has always been there. There is also lots of generic stuff and copied stuff. Wherever art and business collide, that’s always the case.

  • Because when most people were kids, they heard the story about the emperor’s New clothes and didn’t realise real life can be more absurd. Then they forgot a out it and society lost the meaning of the story.

Every time he looks more strange and acts more strange and says stupid things, people pretend like it’s normal or try to rationalise it. At each point, those laughing at him and worries about him think this is the point people will start to see him for what he is, but they don’t.

He’s a stupid psychopath that has no grounding in reality. This is the guy that wanted to inject people with bleach to cure covid. For something so dangerous to the world, it’s a pity that medical associations didn’t make an exception and diagnose him from the available information non clinically. However, all the economists were against him. Yet people still thought his tariffs might be a good idea. So if we don’t listen to the experts any more, what’s the point?
