more then €50,000 a day
This should be based on the salary of whoever is lowest paid within the company and all companies that they buy from recursively.

I can definitely relate.
For instance, BG3 has this launcher window where you have to click a “play” button to start the game. The first few times I launched it, I could not for the life of me figure out how to get past that screen without help. It turns out the button was highlighted in a way to grab your attention such that I just couldn’t see it.
We also have an app here for reading store flyers. Sometimes a certain store gets “featured” and they get this huge banner-like look instead of the usual thumbnail. They might as well not exist anymore at that point.
How are they managing to spend that much for imprisonment? Are they actual expenses or is someone pocketing most of it?
There are a bunch of different definitions people use for introversion/extroversion. “Extroverted introvert” means you’re extroverted by one definition and introverted by a different one.
lowest charisma
What? This guy has one of the strongest cult followings of any human being I’ve ever heard of. How is that low charisma?
This makes way more sense than active suppression. If you don’t have an understanding of the context, then you can’t compress the memory. Every sound/sensation/image is unique and had to be remembered as a unique experience.
If you’re your own audience, then you can keep the joker in your head. Posting it on Lemmy broadcasts it to everyone here and that makes all of us your audience.
It only works as a joke without the /s when your audience knows you well enough to know it’s meant as a joke. That does not apply to you when you post on Lemmy.
That would be ideal, but each person has limited time and attention. Advocate for both, but put your efforts into figuring out how to change the thing with the larger impact.
It might not make sense to be wearing red and say that you’re a little bit rainbow, but it does make sense to wear a desaturated red and say that you’re a little bit red. To that point, I like to compare it to visual acuity. Everyone’s vision lies somewhere on the gradation of 20/20 or better up to complete blindness where absolutely no visual signal reaches your brain. Saying that everyone has a little bit of trouble with social situations is akin to saying that everyone is a little bit blind.
Sometimes I take half a day considering just how to address and sign an email.
I can definitely relate. It also takes a lot longer to craft an email to contain all the relevant information. If you miss something, that’s potentially several hours or days of back and forth to get everything sorted out and plus the need to context switch each time. If you do a phone call, the context switching happens once and it gives you the freedom to go “I need help but I don’t know exactly how to describe the problem or what information you need” and the other party can help fill in the blanks for you.
I’ve just been using a plain old pair of scissors
Nowhere does it say that plants decompose bodies. It says they consume us after we’ve been decomposed.
I don’t know if this is available in the US, but I have one of these guys (Starfrit 5kg scale) which I’ve been using multiple times a day every day since I meticulously Calorie count. It’s been over three years and I have yet to replace the battery.
I know you mean this as in “no one remembers that dumb thing you said last month”, but I can’t help reading it as “no one cares enough about you to give you any thought.”

+1 for GZCLP. Of all the beginner programs out there, this one resonates best with everyone I’ve introduced it to.
It’s not even a question of motivation. Every ADHD person I know is highly motivated. It’s the ability to act on that motivation that’s impaired.
rTorrent with Flood front end.
My only complaint so far is being unable to reach the rTorrent TUI when it’s running headless. It otherwise works great.
There’s also the “science” that is your policy choices (personal or public policy) based on the science(n) and your values, risk tolerance, and lifestyle. Since the latter factors can change a lot over time, these policies can also fluctuate wildly and give the impression that “science” fluctuates wildly.
