Ah yes, maybe something: I think the fediverse suffers from a lack of recommendation/search system. We are a bit burned out from the terrible consequences of the for profit recommendations of Youtube and Twitter, but I think a system that would be actually controlled by the user would be a very precious discovery and adoption tool. Is there something like that being worked on somewhere?
keepthepace@slrpnk.netto Astronomy@mander.xyz•[Eric Berger] Tuesday Telescope: A rare glimpse of one of the smallest known moons3·3 months agoWhat I like about this image is that this is probably the biggest object that I can compare to something I know, that I can “comprehend”. With 6 km wide, it is about the same size as Grenoble, a city I have seen from above while hiking. I can understand how far the picture looks from it, how small a human would be on it

(Disclaimer, I know close to nothing about these) Am I pedantic about a useless detail or does it significantly change the probability if we consider that an object may still impact the moon after “missing it” if it comes close enough to be captured and come back after a semi orbit? Or do the relative speeds makes this extremely unlikely?

NASA is not a for-profit company and was happy to see successful private companies in the sector. They’ll happily be a SpaceX client so that they can focus on actual research and do things that are not profitable (yet)
If you have never seen a scallop run away, google it.
Personally I find it weird that we do generalities about a this population as it is very likely that they had all different cultures on the tribe level.
Nah the game is about friendship and time travels. The boss is kinda irrelevant.
