Not watching, I cut the cord to avoid commercials. But OTA + antenna , as others said, is a solid way to watch network content for free if you can get a good signal.

What the fuck? There’s…what? I played this game for a short bit and thought it was great, but I figured I got the gist of the game and never felt the urge to resume. I was still outside, so I clearly stopped before it started getting good. Fuck. I’m going back in, thank you for posting this.

For those unfamiliar with the acronym, JAQ = “Just asking questions,” a bad faith tactic pushing an absurd narrative (e.g. “movies for white people are disappearing”) by pretending to ask innocent questions.

It’s riddled with white power talking points like this. This shit is really fucked up. It is irresponsible for a well-known major news source to publish shit like this, even with the “opinion” label attached. It’s basically right wing extremist (aka Nazi) recruitment propaganda.

I was curious, so I looked it up. AV1 is more efficient than HEVC by like 28%! On the downside, encoding is horrifically slooow. It’ll be interesting to see how much hardware support AV1 gets in the coming years, because encoding time will have a dramatic effect on its adoption rate.

Interesting to note: AV1 can be played in Kodi, Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, VLC, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera. So on the software side, it’s pretty widely supported.

Same here, tbh I haven’t thought about jquery in a while and kinda came in here to see if it’s dead or not. Yeah frameworks have largely eliminated the “need” for jquery libraries for most projects. It’s weird to think about, didn’t take too long to happen.
