mawkler@lemmy.mlOPto Neovim@programming.dev•I've gotten my work to pay a "Neovim subscription" for two years1·8 months agoNeovim is a fork, but it also contributes a lot back to Vim. Patches that are compatible with both editors are generally first contributed to Vim, and then merged into Neovim.

I’m not sure which is worse. I mean most desktop programs are just glorified web browsers anyway (i.e Electron)

I personally enjoy swipe typing. Do you think this would be faster?
