Not necessarily ‘ding’ them, but it would be nice if the Ford CEO uses a Ford when going to work. If said CEO goes out of their way to not use a Ford, then that’s a red flag.
Still better than a merchant that won’t even use what they sell.
At least the tech director believes enough on their product to actually use it.

So true. At the same time, this happens because a lot of hiring managers don’t know intimately what the job actually does, so they resort to cookie-cutter interview techniques.

What’s decided to be worthy of study is subjective. The process to hypothesize, experiment, and conclude what’s being studied is objective.
The person with the crystals has already concluded, by faith or by doing large logical leaps, that those contain new energy.
The scientists behind the LHC have to meticulously find evidence along the way before they can make a conclusion.
They are not the same.

Theoretically, you can reframe vast social safety nets by the government as citizens (read: also Christians) coordinating charity to be distributed more effectively. This is a bottom-up approach that has the common person’s buy-in. The reasonable criticism of the same policies lies in the top-down, legislation by fiat enactment of policy. No different than, let’s say, Netflix arbitrarily raising their prices without your input.

That way, you can document what’s not being fixed so that your team is more prepared when you’re actually not there.

Assuming rebuilding manufacturing is the intended goal, how feasible is it to start at the local level, as if in a preindustrial society? That means towns would be going back to having their own smiths, bakers, butchers, like in preindustrial times? Guess that’s a consequence of deindustrializing—go back to making handmade stuff since the local businesses that once mass-produced closed long ago.
