I don’t know what happened. Axapta and subsequently Dynamics AX that D365 is being rebranded as is a very respectable system with a lot of history in giant MNC space.

Or I was just unlucky because of prebuilt distros?1·2 months agoI used to have hang on suspend resume problem on my Thinkpad E15. It somegot got resolved in later updates. Might be a random firmware problem, that’s really hard to track down. So may be it mostly comes down to luck.
I think “free” (free as in spiked beer) social media ruined people’s mindset when it comes to software.

For me, inkscape is the easier PDF editor.

My wife’s impressed though, may be a little…
But she’s also a programmer.

I didn’t looked into it in details but it seems to cover identity and policy management. Not sure about the rest of the features you need though.

There were a few problems along the way. I used to have JWM and then XFCE as a back up in case wayland fails. I really only need to go into them when there’s a need for screen sharing. But then, I mostly live in terminal and browser. Low graphic games I play seems okay. The most demanding one I played is probably Starcraft 2 and it plays well even on my crappy 7 years old laptop with intel graphics.

Like trays, notifications, locking, screen saver, etc. Just for the learning experience, any daily driving linux users should at least try to setup a fairly functional desktop environment using bare WMs as the base.

Which terminal emulator do you recommend?1·1 year agoIt does pretty much nothing in terms of fancy windowing and layout features. No tab interface, split screens, etc. I let those handled by my TWM and it just starts really fast.
I absolutely despise these implied “trick question” mentality that HR and job market shills have.
